- Please bring good walking shoes for the walking tour. If you do not wish to participate in the full walking tour, please note small golf buggies are available free of charge. Passengers can locate a buggy at the front entrance of Port Arthur Visitor Centre (it has a full commentary).
- The coach driver will take passengers to the cruise departure point after the guided walking tour. The cruise takes passengers around the Isle of the Dead and also to Point Puer - the first boy's jail in the British Empire. The cruise passes through very calm waters, so passengers do not need to be concerned about sea sickness.
- Where can we have lunch? The Port Arthur Visitor Centre boasts a brand new cafeteria (Port Cafe) at the entrance to the center. There is also a sit down restaurant called Felons. The Port Café and the Museum Café have a large selection of sandwiches, hot food and drinks.
