It was very nice tour. Loved the lavender fields and the distillery was very interesting. Would definitely recommend this tour to lavender lovers.
Due to the lavender season being early in 2015 a lot of the fields had already been harvested when we were there but our guide, Julien, took us to two fields which were still blooming and beautiful - one of which had a spectacular view of the village of Aurel as a backdrop.
We had a half hour stop in the village of Sault just long enough to buy some lavender based gifts at a better price than we would have found them in Avignon.
As we had not hired a car during our stay in Avignon, this tour gave us the opportunity to see some of the countryside and mountains in the area.
very good experience. we went two fields and took lots of beautiful pictures. we also had half hour shopping in the town.
We really enjoyed our afternoon tour of the lavender fields and pretty Provencal villages. Our guide was very good and informative.
Fantastic tour! Perfect size group for the tour. Emilie our tour guide picked us up from the Central train station, on time. She made sure we got the right car seat for our little one, though it meant delaying the trip a bit!!
Emilie is very knowledegeable! She answered every question with a smile.
First we went to the village of Rousillion. The village is very beautiful, all the colourful houses and the narrow streets are very photogenic. Next, Emilie took us to the beautiful lavender fields with full bloom. What a beautiful place that was. We had plenty of time to photograph.
Overall we had a great time, didn't want the trip to end.
This tour had a lot to offer and the tour guide Marc was awesome. Loved the Lavender tour. I would do this tour again.
This is a fantastic trip. Our tour guide-Maria is very informational and professional. Highly recommended !!!!
very nice tour guide! beautiful scene where extremely difficult to go by ourselves. Sault is excellent!!
Very nice day and driver was fun. Lucky to see such splendor at exactly the right time.
What a wonderful tour
I can't imagine missing these sights - book now,,,do not miss this
This was a lovely tour of the lavender fields and surrounding villages. It's such a spectacular sight to see all the lavender in bloom and on one of the lavender stops we were the only people there which was great. The village of Roussillon was very pretty and we had some time to walk round and enjoy it. The guide was great and very knowledgeable.
This was a great way to see the lavender fields as well as some of the countryside. Guide was knowledgeable as well as engaging.
The tour was wonderful with Melanie very friendly and informative. Provence villages and the lavenders are beautiful. Highly recommend the tour if you don't have a car to visit Provence.
We have good guide,Marie, that made this travel more knowledge of places and meanning of Lavender and Lavending. I reccommended this tour.
It was an amazing trip and our guide Vanessa was great! My friends and I really enjoyed the lavender fields in the mountains and the small town of Sault.
Since we're earlier for the Lavender, and bcs of the rain, lavender was not booming yet at the time. We changed our trip to the Provence wine taste trip. Agian lovely and nice guider we had, delivered us to the train station, so that we could catch the train. Thanks to her.
Our experience was simply wonderful! Our guide Francois could not have been more friendly or polite. He was a very careful driver and extremely knowledgeable about the area. He took his time with us and made sure we had all the pictures we wanted. The lavender fields were spectacular and the town of Rouissilon a delight. Very highly recommended.
The lavender fields of Avignon were absolutely stunning when we visited in late June 2013. It is important to time this tour with the weather from spring as blooming may get delayed if it is too cold. The villages visited on this tour were also a great highlight as the medieval construction is something you don't typically see in a major city. A wonderful half-day out!
