This was a great way to spend 24 hours - we got to see the things we came to see and didn't have to worry about what to do to fill the time. If anything, the afternoon trip to Kata Tjuta (the Olgas) was a bit rushed, but this couldn't be helped as we had to be back in time to be picked up for the Sounds of Silence dinner. The dinner was excellent - a great experience, with free-flowing drinks and interesting, good quality food, well presented in a unique location. The Uluru early morning walk was excellent. We learnt a lot of cultural information and watching the sunrise against the Rock was wonderful. As the morning progressed, the colours changed. In fact, one of the interesting things was how the colour of Uluru was continually changing, depending on the time of day and the location from which we were looking at it.

The overall experience was very good, however the tour involving the Olgas was quite rushed in order to return people to hotels for the Sounds of Silence dinner. That is not to be missed, however I was disappointed that it was at the expense of the Olgas visit. As an improvement, starting it earlier than 2:30 pm would give it the time it needs without compromising the evening event.

The operator made a mess of the tour, which had been booked and paid months ahead, and spoiled our trip to Ayers Rock. We did not get to the Olgas, as planned and paid for. This company needs to seriously sort out of this tourist rip-off.

The tour itself was pretty good and the tour guides were knowledgeable, but the price was ridiculous and a complete rip-off on value for money.
