The guide was very friendly and helpful. The bus comfortable. Everything was superb! like the Kings Canyon
A great day. Driver and tour guide went above and beyond to make sure everyone was catered for. Timing of stops was just right and guides helped to make the walk more interesting with their knowledge of the area and the flora and fauna. Would definitely recommend this tour.
Done with a local tour operator. It's a long day, but well worth it - very entertaining guide/driver who took us out to Kings Canyon station for a hearty breakfast before heading over to do the Rim walk at Kings Canyon - beautiful scenery and a great group on the day. This was followed up by lunch at the Kings Canyon resort Camel burger was pretty good before heading on back. There was a convenient transfer to the Alice Springs bound bus, which allowed me to fly out of Alice Springs direct to Perth.
After a small physical challenge climbing 500 rocky steps, the walk around the canyon rim is full of interesting views and places, including the garden of eden rock pools. A real highlight.
Hello fellow travellers,
My friend and I took this tour. It was absolutely brilliant. It's such a breathetaking and interesting site. The climb although challenging at times, was well managed by our guide. Our driver 'Beau' and guide 'Caity' were awesome, highly informative and fun to share the day with. We had the best day... I highly recommend taking this tour with the local tour operator and Viator. It was truly an amazing experience. Thank you.
AMAZING! Spectacular views, great history, and awesome to get to see more of the NT landscape with the distance between everything. Driving back to Ayers Rock resort was great too, as you get to see Uluru appear on the horizon. The rim walk is definitely worth the climb.
Very well organised tour, friendly guides, camel burger for lunch recommended
Amazing!! even though it got up around 40, the walk was stunning as long as you had sufficient water! Beautiful views and Joanna was an amazing tour guide!! well worth every penny spent!! MUST DO the long 6km walk if you're able to physically :) can't wait to come back and do the 22km walk!!
this hike was awesome, the views were great, the guide was great, and it wasn't too tough. I went during the summer and the weather was hot, but so dry that the temperatures really didn't seem bad at all.
Very hot day but all the guides were great and very informative. Highly recommend making the day trip to the canyon.
Experience tour guide, comfortable coach, Highly recommended!
Magical. The staff on the tour were knowledgeable and well organised. The helicopter ride was excellent. One of the highlights of my trip
The 500 step climb to the rim of the canyon is a challenge but once there it was amazing and well worth the climb. Our guide was very knowledgeable and informative. It is a long drive from Urulu but well worth the effort. The walk around the rim of the Canyon is splendid and you get the most amazing views.
Long day and an early start - but well worth it. Absolutely stunning. We did the rim walk 6.5km. Would do it again tomorrow. Guides again were fantastic, great breakfast at the station. Even had a camel burger for lunch which was also great. Highly recommended.
Excellent organisation and a stunning trip. Wirth the long coach trip.
Fabulous day. A very early start but well worth the trip. Kings Canyon was awesome and doing the rim walk was incredible. Its 500 steps up to start but after that it was quite reasonable going. The views are amazing. My friend did the walk around the bottom of the canyon and said it was an amazing experience.
I did the long climb. Very hard ! But I loved it. Steep rock climbing at times but views incredible.
We did the 3 hour rim walk and the scenery is most wonderful - a must see! After the first 500 steps, the walk actually was not too difficult - We are very glad it's May and the weather was just right for the walk - in summer (Dec - Feb) probably the walk would be close due to the heat, Our guide Nick and Nathan are excellent. After the walk, we relaxed at the resort and have lunch, on the way back, we had the chance to view Mt Currie and the salt lake and a stopover to a station - a 600 km plus round trip of over 12 hours - a very worthy trip - very memorable.
The view was just amazing. About 17 people out of 20 chose to do the rim walk. Some people seemed really tired after the walk, but I definitely recommend the rim walk.
