We didn't know quite what to expect, and the evening turned out to be even better than we anticipated. After enjoying a superb sunset on Uluru, we moved to the restaurant site, which, being set in the desert, was a little surreal. The whole event was excellent; the food was very good indeed considering the circumstances, and the didgeridoo player was extremely skilled and had many an interesting and amusing tale to tell. Finally, the astronomer, who was a real entertainer as well as very informative, continued to keep us entertained even when the clouds rolled in towards the end of the evening. The tables of eight offered the opportunity to learn about other people's experiences, and although the night became quite cool, the heaters and the log fire provided ample warmth. The staff were welcoming and efficient, and even the chef had a good line in patter. All in all, a truly memorable evening. I would recommend it.

This was a fantastic experience. We had good food and drinks served by the young, enthusiastic and friendly staff in an amazing part of the world, with Uluru in front of us and the Olgas behind. Our table was made up of Australians, an English couple who live in USA, Americans, and Scottish - an interesting mix. A person with the biggest flashlight I've ever seen gave us a tour of the stars; her enthusiasm has rubbed off on me, and I've been admiring the night sky ever since.

This was a truly unique and thoroughly enjoyable experience; combining an interesting and diverse contribution of presentations which compliment rather than detract from the extraordinary atmosphere and aura felt by the close proximity of Uluru and neighbouring Kata Tjuta.

This is an experience NOT to be missed or overlooked. No expectation is left unmet or unsurpassed. It truly is so magical, transforming, memorable and peaceful that Disney cannot recreate it. Seeing the moon, stars and planets while over a delicious dinner with new friends is what it's all about.

Seems like a cheesy idea, but it is something special and not to be missed!

Even if you are in Uluru for only one night, do not miss this! It was one of the best dining experiences. The food was not too bad but you may need to skip dessert, since by that time, the bugs are all over it. But don't do it for the food! Do it for the romantic setting, the chance to meet other travelers, and the astronomical presentation. And of course, it provides another photo opportunity of Ayers Rock and the Olgas at the best time of the day - sunset. Yes, it is kind of pricey especially for a meal that is, in all reality, forgettable. But everything in Uluru is pricey, so why not and the beer, wine, and champagne are unlimited so depending on how much you drink it practically pays for itself.

An amazing evening when all the main components were great. Good weather, good company, no cloud so good star gazing and great food and wine. We could not fault any part of the whole experience.

An amazing experience however, we had hoped for more involvement by indigenous people and were disappointed this didn't happen.

An excellent evening with an impressive didgeridoo player, and a most interesting study of the heavens. I would have liked a little more Aboriginal culture.
