The sunset was great and then we headed to the dinner. Food was great and beer and wine flowed. The star gazing was the highlight. Looked at constellations in the complete dark in the middle of the desert.
This was an amazing tour. We couldn't fault anything from the time we got on the bus to the time we got off. Sunset by the rock was amazing, the dinner was beautiful and the stars were just awesome
Really enjoyable. Particularly liked the stargazing, the skies were so clear it was wonderful.
My husband and I spent 6 weeks in Australia Hey, I only get to go once! and this is the highlight he will talk about for the rest of his life. The night sky there is truly fabulous. If you are in the area, or even on the continent, find a way to spend some of the night hours in the desert. And on this tour you get a great BBQ dinner and guide who knows the stars.
Exallent evening, good food, plenty of drink, friendly staff, certainly finished out holiday on a high, expensive evening but you only live once.
The experience of having dinner under the stars was terrific. All the food and drinks you could have, great selection. The star gazing was great, we could even see a satalite traveling through the sky. Really friendly group to talk to over dinner.
We had a GREAT time. Our tour guides were fun and very knowledgable. The food was delicious plus the drinks flowed freely!
This was a wonderful tour. it started with champagne and nibbles looking at Ayers Rock while we waited for the sun to go down. As the sun went down the rock went through many shades of orange to bright red. We were then taken to a barbecue dinner which included steak , kangaroo , chicken and king prawns plus heapd of salads and wine. then we went stargazing - I have never seen so many stars! we could see the milky way and even another galaxy with someone telling us what we were looking at. Absolutely magnificent !! would thoroughly recommend it.
It was one of the hi lites of our holiday. Watching the changing colours of the rock at sunset was amazing. The BBQ was outstanding. The star talk was fascinating and we met lovely people. It was a perfect evening.
Absolutely loved this tour. The tour commenced with a sunset view of Uluru with drinks and snacks. We then proceeded to a lovely location where we enjoyed a lovely BBQ dinner right next to Uluru and out in the open watching the Stars in the sky. Highly recommend this tour.
Worth the money. Well organised and the staff were interesting in presenting the Stars !
A fantastic job by AAT Kings! We arrived at Uluru to a table covered in nibbles and the offer of a glass of wine while we watched the sun go down. Our coach driver recommended we take photos 5 minutes apart in order to see how the colours change on the rock as the sun goes down. Afterwards the bbq dinner was good fun - meeting people from different countries - and delicious. Then the lights went out and we looked at the fabulous stars - wow!
The entire evening was incredible. The wine was flowing at sunset and at the dinner. We had great advice on picture taking at Ayers. The people at the BBQ were wonderful. The Star Tour was OK, but not at the fault of the tour package. It was "super moon" time and the brightness of the moon out shown some of the starts and constellations. Great evening out. One to remember.
The evening starts at a location looking over at the Rock with drinks and nibbles, the colour changes of the Rock are constant from the moment you arrive until you leave. A transfer to a different location for the BBQ and Star tour, each of which were brilliant.
This tour was great, we were picked up outside the hotel and taken to a viewing area to watch the sun set over Uluru, we were greeted with snacks and champagne or wine, whatever you preferred, also soft drinks were available as much as you wanted.
We were told to take pictures every 5 mins or so as the colour changes tha quickly, the tour guide was very good and very informative. After the sunset we were driven to an area where we ate as much as we wanted of salad/ vegetables bread hot freshly cooked steaks or kangaroo whatever you wanted, we all mingled and chatted to others on the table it was a very good sociable event, at the end there was a brief talk about the stars, a very good tour well done viator and thank you for a lovely evening.
Included the Uluru / Ayers Rock sunset viewing which we were not expecting. Great food but could have done with a little more light while eating. Interesting talk on the stars after the meal.
Sunset over Uluru was amazing! Tour guides were friendly and knowledgeable, BBQ was delicious! The perfect all-in-one tour!
Brilliant night out. Worth every penny, which is more than I can say about the resort...
As far as we can tell from guides etc. this was better value than the Sounds of Silence, and somewhat better quality food (we preferred the more substantial BBQ at long tables). It was slightly confusing having booked on-line, as no-one seemed to know which tour this was. But worked well, food quality and guides good.
