This is a double hitter, Uluru turns its brightest and deepest reds at sunrise and sunset, seeing that happening up close while walking the 10-km track around the base, hearing the stories and seeing sacred sites, canyons, watering holes and rock art, is magical. The picnic breakfast along the way was pretty good too. And don't be scared of doing this one, it's an absolutely flat walk, I did it with other visitors aged from 5 to 70+, who all had no problem.

We had a great time on this tour, but we were upset that they did not take us to the cultural center, which has some great souvenirs and awesome artwork. Be careful with the printout you receive from Viator; the company doesn't always let you know what tour group you will be going with. We had to wait two hours for our group because our confirmation did not include the tour group name or the time of departure.

Very early start and quite hard walking for first half an hour. Note no toilet stops until towards the end of the walking tour.

Worth doing on the first day but I think I would plan the trip a little differently for me if I went back.
