Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Uluru Sunrise Tour from Ayers Rock. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
This tour is worth the early rise! The sunset at Uluru was a holiday highlight, seeing the changing colours and fascinating scenery. This is complemented by informative and professional tour guides.
We had the best time, on this tour with AAT Kings and Viator. Thank you sp much for providing us with a unique and incredible experience. Sunrise at Uluru is simply stunning. My friend and I highly recommond this tour. We had a fabulous morning. This is one sunrise, I will never forget. Thank you. Your guys Rock! x
Absolutely incredible experience! freezing cold first thing (don't wear shorts like I did!) but the sunrise is really special and the tour goes right up to Uluru and was amazing, all made that much better by our super tour guide! Would also highly recommend the sunset and bbq, personal highlight!
We loved the sunrise tour, watching the colours change on Uluru was fantastic, the tour guides gave us lots of information about the local traditions and culture. Definatley worth getting up before the sun.
Very well organised tour . The tour guide was very knowledgeable and the weather was perfect .
My sister and I made this booking as a last minute idea when we realised that the others tours we had taken didn't really get us up close to Ayers Rock, having seen it from the vantage of a helicopter and at sunset on comeback. With less than a day remaining of our stay in Uluru, we decided to see what was available in the limited time we had remaining. We didn't regret one minute of this tour. It truly gave us the "complete" Ayers rock experience and we now have unforgettable memories that we have already shared with our family and friends. I would recommend this tour to anyone coming to Uluru.
We had an excellent guide in Andrew, he's funny, lovely and very informative of Uluru stories. We had a morning tea before the sunrise, plenty of time at a great location to watch and photo the sunrise. After sunrise, we had a pleasant walk around the base, Uluru climb was close due to wind but we enjoyed the walk and the visit to cultural centre to finish the morning is great.
The Sunrise Tour information that you provided to me clearly states that this is a 5 hour tour however on the morning of the tour, we were told by AAT Kings , the tour guide people, that I only paid for the 2 hour tour. I held up the bus trying to explain that I paid for a 5 hour tour but to no avail. So I had to upgrade to the Sunrise and Cultural Tour for $75 pp on the spot which I did. When I got back home , I checked the AAT Kings web site and sure enough it clearly states that this the Sunrise Tour is only around 2 hours. Viator needs to ensure that their information is the same as the tour guide i.e. AAT Kings ,who were very professional by the way. I cannot recommend Viator as a result of this embarrassment and incompetence.
The tour was very good and I would recommend to anyone. Very moving and spiritual.
Ayers was very interesting the tour Guide Sarah had great knowledge of Ayers rock. Was the best tour guide we had in all are trips
I would recommend that you plan this tour outside the high tourist times or it may become difficult to move about
Sunrise on the Rock a must however the real highlight was Kata Tjuta. Make sure you add a tour to this amazing grouping of domes.

Trip was good but it was extremely cold and I think someone should have warned us we needed a coat.
