Grace did a fantastic job of telling us the historical and ecological significance of the area. She also carefully guided us through a challenging hike. Highly recommend..............take the long hike. The view is amazing!
Great tour, worth the 8km walk! Had a choice to do the long or short walk, we decided to do the long walk and it was amazing, the AAT Kings tour guides were fantastic. After the walk we watched the sunset with a glass of bubbly and nibbles, I would highly recommend.
I loved Kata Tjuta sunset tour. Ayres Rock or Uluru is always the big attraction however, the sunset at this site was amazing. This is enormous. Thanks to AAT Kings for their very knowledgable and interesting driver and tour guide.
Amazing tour! We did two walks that were each about one hour or a little more each. The extreme heat left us without doing the third walk but that was okay and out of their control. The Park controls that and not the Tour Companies. The walks were unreal with great scenery everywhere. Everywhere you looked was a great potential picture. I did not want it to end.
The drinks and food relaxing after a hike at sunset was perfect. They even played some classic Australian music for us on the bus back to the resort.
The walk was not as impressive as I had hoped, but the guides were really wonderful ( AATKIngs). Very enthusiastic, interacted well with everyone, very eager to share their love of the area.
Great guide and driver . Unfortunately the valley of the winds longer walk was cancelled due to the heat but we still did the shorter walk which was stunning, and got to see the Walpa Gorge which was a lovely bonus. Sunset was great.
Would not hesitate to recommend it. Thanks for a great day.
Great tour with informative guides and options for different levels of fitness. Yummy nibbles with a few drinks whilst watching the sunset over Kata Tjuta.
The complete walk is not that difficult - you can turn and retrace your steps if necessary. Some great photographic opportunities and a chance to meet fellow travellers. The sunset is well worth it and the drinks and nibbles adds to the experience
Tour driver Andrew and tour guide Sarah were superb .Easy to get on with and with a lot of local knowledge .
The walks were great and interesting. The nibbles and sparkly wine whilst watching the sunset over Kata Tjuta finished off a memorable day.
Amazing, tour guides were fantastic. The rock is spectacular. The sunset drinks and food was also fantastic, plenty to go around, they didn't scrimp on anything. We got some fantastic photos. Highly recommend this tour.
A great experience that I would highly recommend. One comment though, the tour requires a lot of walking up to 16 km and in hot weather most of the Valley of the Winds walk is closed which actually makes it more accessible. On these hot days the tour is made better by a short Valley of the Winds Walk and then a visit to Walpa Gorge
Good walk, well worth taking the longer walk option, with wonderful views over the valley. I was expecting a small group experience, so being on a bus with over 40 people on it was a surprise, as was the 28 people on our walk - not quite what I was after. That said though, the sunset was still sublime.
The guides were fantastic and the flys were annoying, the food and drink at the end all worth while.
An amazing afternoon. The guide and driver were both first class. The walk through the Valley of the Winds was spectacular. Thoroughly recommended.
Great tour but would have liked more time at the end to finish the walk, could have spent less time at the sunset area to achieve this.
Beautiful scenery. I found the walk a bit too easy (but most of the walking trail was closed due to high temperatures). Sunset was incredible. Guides were quite good as well, entertaining and knowledgeable.
The walk was slow and not nearly as challenging as advertised, with too many stops and long breaks. We booked into with the expectation to walk the 7km loop, as it had been advertised, however the itinerary had been changed without any prior notification. The gorgeous sunset viewing made up for the walk
