What You Can Expect

Certified Nitrox Scuba Dive in Bali

Certified Nitrox Scuba Dive in Bali

Choose from two scuba diving sessions in Bali: a 2-tank dive session off the coast of Amed, or a 2-tank drift dive session at Penida Island. Amed, situated on the northeast coast, immerses the certified scuba diver in a beautiful underwater world. Enjoy two dives here amid calm waters. If you're an advanced diver, head to Penida Island, one of three sister islands where you’ll find excellent drift diving and witness colorful coral. You'll need to come prepared with most of your own equipment or you may choose the option to include all necessary equipment; read the Important Info tab for more information on what to bring.

A complimentary lunch will be served at the end of your session.

Option 1: Amed (2-tank dive)
After morning pickup from your accommodation, head to the small village of Amed approximately 2 hours away, depending on your hotel location. Amed offers many dive sites including some nice drop-offs.

Upon arrival, your certified instructor welcomes your small group with a safety briefing and demonstration of dive techniques. Board an outrigger boat for two spectacular dive sites showcasing beautiful coral reefs and a variety of marine species like nudibranchs, eels, and worms. The sea conditions in this area are generally calm with less currents, while water temperature and visibility depend on the weather.

Enjoy lunch before return transport to your hotel.

Option 2: Penida Island (2-tank dive)
After morning pickup from your hotel, drive approximately 40 minutes to Sanur, where you’ll board a speedboat for the 1.5-hour cruise to Nusa Penida (Penida Island). Upon arrival, your certified instructor welcomes your small group with a safety briefing and demonstration of advanced dive techniques.

The site boasts several dive points with gorgeous corals, prolific fish, turtles, grey reef sharks and silver-tip sharks, but it's best known as a place to spot manta rays and mola-mola. Drift diving amid beautiful coral is a must-do for the experienced and demanding diver seeking a real dive adventure! In good weather, the visibility usually reaches 65 feet (20 meters) or more, and on occasion there are sudden drops in water temperature.

Enjoy lunch before return transport to your hotel.

Please note: All Penida Island dives are drift dives, and boats follow the divers. Currents may become very strong and change direction from time to time. Thus, advanced diving experience is a prerequisite!
