This tour was very good.

Market has dropped off since our last visit 20 years ago. It's a long drive out and back for a good 20 min canal ride, but a market that now concentrates more on boat rides for the tourist than local boats selling their wares. The boys taking photos with pythons and monkeys photo were absent, and most areas are fixed price.

We got to be the first to be picked up.. so that was 6.10am in the morning! The tour was good. What annoyed me the most was the fact that the floating market seems designed for tourism. So it's not really Thai culture. They mainly sold hats, ornaments and fruits... only coz it's hot, no shade! Anyways you would think everything is paid for but you get the option of being in a boat for 150baht or you can just walk around the floating market. I'm not complaining about money here but it's silly coz they could've charged 150 baht on to the total fare. The tour guide I had was not bad.

This was an extremely rushed tour and the time at the market was short. I chose this tour over others because I thought the main focus would be on the Floating Market and I would get to spend more time there but we only had 1 hour there which wasn't enough time if you are with a group of people. In addition, we stopped at other places, therefore, the tour guide was in a rush the whole time, and borderline rude. I didn't get the feeling she enjoyed her job. She was just going through the motions to get us in and out as fast as possible like cattle. This took away from the overall experience and I was a little put off. The Floating Market itself was FANTASTIC even though I didn't get to spend much time there. It is really an amazing experience. The boat ride to the market was also very fun! As a suggestion, perhaps the tour schedule should be limited to fewer stops so there is more focus on the actual market and the boat ride since this is the name of the tour anyway. The tourists don't have to pay the price for the tour guide's stress. When I am on vacation, I try to avoid this kind of stress. I am not sure whether I would do this tour again. Honestly it might be better & cheaper to just hire a taxi car for the day and you can spend as much time as you like at the market. It was very hard for me to get pictures because we were so much in a rush. I could tell the tour guide was annoyed when I was taking pictures.

Cool experience, but a long way to go...too much traffic, too far!

Our guide was not a good one. We got the full itinerary at the start of the tour; from there on it got worse. She never held the group together, especially at the market area, and then, to fill in the rest of the tour, we were taken on the back roads to see the countryside. We were not even given the opportunity to stop for lunch anywhere. I hope the guide we had is not a reflection of all the other tour guides.

This was a very long day. It was enjoyable, but I would opt for a shorter version if I were to do this again. The guide spoke excellent English and was very informative.

Enjoyed this tour. The speedboat ride was fun. Be aware that you need to pay extra to go on the smaller boats that actually visit the floating markets by water. You can walk around the inside markets without paying extra but I wanted to do what I had seen in the photos and you had to pay the extra for that. Very crowded and a bit touristy.

Knowledgeable tour guide. I really want to say 'worth doing' but experience was marred by 1. late pick up time and 2. very late return to hotel, 1.5hrs riding around Bangkok because someone farther away was dropped off first even though our hotel was 10 minutes down the road.

Pictures for the trip show local women in boats selling fruits and veggies, very colorful. That was years ago. It doesn't exist anymore. At present the market is just another tourist shop on both sides of the klong.

A tourist trap of the first degree.
