The boat ride back is not as scenic as sometimes described. The boat was nice and the food quite good but the scenery for most of the trip was heavily industrial in nature.

I liked it very much. Could understand Thailand history. Felt the reality of Thai life.

Visited a number of temples on this tour. A good introduction to Buddhism. Would have been nice if there was more commentary on the river cruise.

Trip was great - well timed, with enough time at sites for a good look. No good if you are passionate about the history. Air-conditioned coach was a bonus, tour guide very approachable and informative. Boat trip back very pleasant.

Tour was interesting and covered most of the sights in Ayutthaya. Tour returned to Bangkok at 4 pm, so could have added an hour in Ayutthaya to see more sights. Boat trip back is okay, but not very exciting until you get closer to Bangkok. Altogether, it's worth doing.

We enjoyed our Ayutthaya tour, with a stopover for the palace and a river cruise for the trip back. Since the cruise back is during the day, you can see the Thai way of life along the river. A cruise during the night will show the temples lit up and is also spectacular. The temples are ancient and some are in ruins. They have their own charm that way. The only gripe I had about the tour was the guide was always putting down the Thai political system with some unnecessary comments.

This trip allows you to travel out of Bangkok and view the countryside along the way. The summer palace is a great stop with the cold refresher towels a welcome relief after 1.5 hours in the sun. The ruins of Ayuthaya are stunning, easy to move around and lots of great photo moments. The cruise with lunch is a very comfortable and relaxing way to return to Bangkok. The food and service was excellent. The tour seemed well paced with plenty of time to explore each site. Highly recommended tour with pleasing assistance from all staff working for the tour operator.

This was an excellent tour, however, more time could have been spent at Ayuthaya and the other temples that were visited. I would also suggest that bottled water and a light snack be supplied to all tour participants, free of charge, and also that the tour include smaller groups of participants, perhaps a maximum of twenty people to a tour vehicle.

Good, but would have been better with more time in the ruins of Ayuthaya. Cruise with lunch on return was very enjoyable.

This was a good day, but I would have welcomed a brief stop early on in the day for coffee and refreshments after an early start.

It was very interesting. The time at the palace was too short. The guide's English was sometimes a little hard to understand, but he had lots of information. It would have been nice to have it all on paper. The boat trip back and the lunch were very relaxing.
