Nice trip. With all the traffic in Bangkok, it was nice to be picked up at the hotel.

The first stop was the king's summer palace, which was lovely - we definitely recommend taking the golf cart option rather than walking. Our excellent guide then took us to really interesting historical sites, and we had enough time at each. The boat trip back provided a different perspective and was very relaxing. A good day out.

The tour was okay, however considering English is not my first language, and the tour guide spoke English in a foreign accent and manner, I lost lots of information. The tour guide was a courteous person. The best part of the tour was the cruise on the Chao Phraya river; the food on board the boat was very good. Also, the sight of Bangkok when approaching the city from the river was amazing.

An enjoyable and interesting day. Quite a variety of things to see and do. Guide informative. The boat trip back to Bangkok proved a good way of seeing certain aspects of life. The meal was fine. My only negative was that I could not find out the pick up time from our hotel. I tried to ring to confirm on 2 occasions but got nowhere.

Interesting history and a cultural awakening. Bus trip to the ruins and a leisurely ferry ride back to Bangkok. The tour leader astounded us with his in-depth knowledge. Definitely recommend the tour but take a book because the trip out there is quite long!

This was a good trip which I would urge anyone visiting Bangkok to do. It's a pleasant escape from the heat and bustle of the city and the two visits, to Bang Pa-In and Ayuthaya Historical Park are a good prelude to an enjoyable lunch and river cruise.

Very well organized and executed tour. Logistics were excellent, guide was very knowledgeable and spoke fluent English. Itinerary was quite interesting and varied. Well-paced and highly informative. Although we came across other tour groups during our day, we never felt rushed nor crowded. Ample rest stops available all day. A highlight was the excellent river cruise during the afternoon including a fabulous lunch and beautiful sites all along the way. We met a delightful number of other travellers from all over the world, several of which we hope to remain in touch with. All of our expectations were met except for some longer than expected waits while connecting with other passengers at the central departure point early in the day.
In all, definitely worth doing during your visit to Bangkok. Viator is highly professional all the way. We appreciated being personally phoned at our hotel the night before to both confirm our reservation and receiving notification of timing for our pickup and drop off.
The pick up was in the very early morning, yet after a brief transfer to the main meeting point we had to wait nearly an hour. Otherwise the guide was very competent and the overall experience was good.

The return journey by boat was too long. If there could have been a stop somewhere along the way we all would have appreciated it. The meal was great! Otherwise we enjoyed the land based tour very much.
