Really enjoyed our tour here. Our first stop was at Harrison's Cave, This was amazing. The guides made sure that no matter where you were seated you got to see and take pictures of everything. Our second stop was at the Flower Forest. This was a self-guided tour. Our guide gave us a card with the pictures of the flowers and we toured the area at our own pace. Since we are from Florida, we knew many of the plants and trees we saw but still very much enjoyed this stop. Our final stop was at the Wildlife Reserve. We arrived just in time to see the monkeys, red deer, and turtles during feeding time. I would recommend this tour.
The caves were gorgeous and we loved the wildlife at the reserve. It is a must see on Barbados.
Great tour, wonderful guide(Chris). The views were beautiful and we got to experience some of the Barbados culture first hand.
Our guide was outstanding which helped to make a great excursion even better. We enjoyed all three major stops plus the wealth of information our guide provided along the way. We highly recommend this tour and were very glad we booked this multi stop excursion instead of the single stop cave tour offered on our cruise ship.
The tour was GREAT! Harrison's Cave and the Wildlife Reserve exceeded our expectations. We did not expect the animals roaming freely in the reserve. The guide was wonderful but overloaded. He was trying to satisfy 2 tour groups at the same time, which meant a lot of back and forth to see all sights.
I was impressed with our tour. Everyone was super that we worked with and it was a tour that I would recommend to anyone.
This was amazing. We saw some much on this tour. We went to the Cave, Garden with the most amazing view, and to the wildlife reserve. I took my 8 year old daughter on this and she loved every minute of it. We got to see the whole island I feel. I got a good sense of what Barbados was about. We ran out of time before we could do it all, it didn't matter. We were lucky for it to be my daughter myself and the guide. She was wonderful and friendly and answer all of our questions about Barbados. If you like the this type of stuff you'll love this.
Our guide, Calvin, was extremely gracious. We enjoyed visiting the pottery factory. We bought two items there. We also enjoyed Flower Forest. We wish we could have spent more time there to really take in everything. More time at Flower Forest and less time at the Wildlife Refuge would have been better. There was some wasted time getting onto the tram at Harrison Caves. We were held up waiting for another group to arrive. I don't think there is too much that Calvin could have done about it, though. One more thing I would like to point out is that one may think that they are going to go to Orchid World on this tour. Instead, they automatically take you to Flower Forest unless you arrange ahead of time to go to Orchid World.
The lunch stop was good and I am glad that Calvin placed our orders ahead of time so as not to waste precious time at the restaurant. I also wish we could have had some kind of orientation about the Wildlife Refuge. I didn't know about the back area of the Refuge with the aviary and flowers until about 10 minutes before we had too leave. This tour could have lasted another 30 minutes and we still would have made it back to the cruise ship on time.
This tour was excellent! The tour leader Liza gave us very interesting information..unfortunately we didn't see the monekeys..Although there are thousands of them on the island!harrison cave was amazing but the tram we were on during the decent to the cave was a bit fast to be able to take decent photos...on the whole it was worth it!
