A must have when in Barcelona, the best way ti get around the city is on the metro and at 2 Euros per single journey the card pays for its self after only a few trips (excluding the connection from the airport) the guide allows you to visit this expensive city without spending a fortune. I would highly recommend it to anyone who visits the city.

The Barcelona card is a must have. It was nice not to have to worry about purchasing tickets for any kind of transportation. Along with the convenience we also received discounts at places like the Sagrada Familia and the Picasso Museum among others. If you're traveling to Barcelona I strongly recommend it. Tip: the number of days that the Barcelona card is valid for is not on a 24 hour system. It on a day to day system. For instance, we bought it for 5 days, but used it on the first evening once when we arrived, thinking it would be valid until 5 days from the time we first used it. WRONG! the one time we used it in the evening counted as one day and we only used it for 4 more days. So use it wisely when you first arrive.
The Barcelona card was brilliant picked it up from the airport, used it to get the train into the city and numerous metros during out stay, did not realize that the vouchers were needed to get into the museums so only used one but still saved a fortune. Barcelona is a magnificent city, we loved the sagrada familia. We stayed in the Barri Gotic which is a magical place, with all the small alley ways. We also had a trip to Montsarret and went on the rack railway up the mountain and got to see the Black Madonna. Unfortunately we were caught in a thunder storm when we went to Parc Güell we still enjoyed the visit but it would have been better in the sunshine! We found things a bit expensive such as tapas and beer . would love to go back to see the many things we did not have a chance to see. As hubby isn't into shopping I would love to go back with my daughter so we could have a good old browse around the many amazing shops in the old district.
This card was extremely useful, especially for the transport system, the guide book proved useful, and the map was never put away. I recommend the Barcelona card, to all who travel to the city!

Absolutely brilliant. Used these cards daily for tram and underground. Would highly recommend. Found them so easy to use. Just pick up from any tourist info spots and away you go. Made the trip so much easier. Luke
The is something anyone would like to go to Barcelona must have. The vouchers and informations in the guide book are extremely helpful.
Our 3 day card was of immence value enabling us to visit the sights we wanted easily by metro, which was easy to negotiate with 1 of our party being slightly disabled. Returning from a visit to harbour and beach on the 45 bus took us to within a few yards of our hotel.
I would say good value for the time and money
