The Barcelona Card is quite handy if you want to make use of public transit while in the city. It allowed me to stay in a very nice hotel at a lower cost, just outside the core of the city, "commuting" each day to see the sights, plus made it easy to jump in and out of the subway as I walked around from each church, park, etc., I wanted to see.

The Barcelona Card made it very easy to get around the city. They do, however, sell the three day card on its own; you pay the extra for the map and the booklet. The booklet does have lots of money off vouchers in it, so it is well worth the money. But if you do not intend to go to lots of attractions, I would recommend just buying the card on its own in Barcelona.

We used the Metro extensively to get around during our week in Barcelona. The free boat ride was quite refreshing. I would recommend this for anyone planning to take in the sights of Barcelona.

It's a good way to save money, but the guidebook doesn't tell you exactly how to get to the sites.

I would definitely recommend. If you're planning on tube hopping around the city then this is worth doing. Means you don't have to mess about with coins or money and getting single tickets etc. It doesn't, however, get you on the bus to and from the airport.

Best way to see Barcelona especially on a slightly cool and cloudy day.

I started my trip on Friday evening and had my flight back Monday evening. I bought 4-day Barcelona card, it was great, covered all the metro trips and gave us discounts. However, I might have bought 2-day card; Barcelona center is not so big as it seems, so lots of tourist attractions are in walking distance. Worth it if you want to see lots places on opposite sides of the town. Fountain show - Font Magica de Montjuic - definitely worth it!!!

In my trip to Spain I stopped at Madrid and Barcelona. I would have to say that i liked Barcelona better simply because I found it to be more artsy, lots of interesting architecture and museums and cathedrals and the pace was slower than in Madrid.

Free use of metro and good map. Although we were disappointed that they did not honor a discount on the tour bus.

Barcelona card well worth having, good value for money and saves time getting further tickets for travel in Barcelona.

Very worthwhile, no hassle with buying tickets, just use the same card for all transport and their public transport is way better than ours!

This is not good value for money unless you are a superhero and can get around numerous tourist attractions to make use of the discounts within the time allowed.

It was fine, but a bit too restrictive. You can only be in one place at a time!

We did not use this pass for most of the museums, but the card was a great value for local trains and the metro system. It is absolutely worth the cost!

It's worth it, just make sure you're going to most of the place it has in the book.
