Easy pickup from airport and could use it straight away. Transport system in Barcelona is not always as joined up as you might think from map, trams stops are sometimes a street or more away from metro. Getting into attractions was easy.

Very useful for getting arounf Barcelona, we used it a lot. Some of the free things included very good value especially the Gondolinas boat and some discounts however some of the museums offered free were not really the ones that we wanted to visit.

The Barcelona Card is definitely worth it but could have been better if a proper city map was included. The map included with book did not help much and was difficult to figure out the places!!

It is worthwhile if you are a super tourist. My husband and I stayed in Barcelona for 5 days and each day was packed full of activities. We used it primarily for transportation, which is amazing and efficient. However, we thought that the Barcelona Guidebook, in terms of admission to museums and major attractions, was a bit disappointing. There were very few instances where admission was free and many of the attractions listed had discounted admissions. Barcelona is a terrific and fantastic city. We would like to see more options in the Barcelona Guidebook!

The public transport in Barcelona is great, so these cards are well worth having!

We didn't use that many coupons as we were in the city only a short time. The offering could be extended to include more sights.

The bus tour was wonderful, it gave a great general overview of the highlights of the city. The hop-on and off feature was also great. However I did most of my tour on the weekend, and the top level seating was usually full if you got off the bus. The top level is open, and you have a better opportunity to take pictures than inside the bottom level of the bus. As for the discounts, they could be better. The free admissions were to museums that really didn't interest me - general museums like the natural history, etc. The Barcelona or Spain-specific museums were not free, but discounted. There was also so much to do, just not enough time.

It is always much more convenient to have prepaid transportation. The discounts were nice making more events affordable. My only negative comment was that the card promised transportation to and from the airport via the Airbus included. When I looked through the book it was only a 20 discount but the bus driver didn't accept it at all. I would have purchased one less day and saved some money.

It's definitely worth getting especially for the free transport or else it would of cost a fortune.

Made travel much more simple and saved us money on the Las Golondrinas boat trip.

We felt the Barcelona Card was well worth what we paid for it. The discounts to museums and theaters alone paid for the card, and therefore the travel on the metro, buses, and trains was free. Either way, we were glad to have purchased it. The only glitch was that when it was bent, it did not work. We went to the information center in Plaza Catalunya and they gave us new cards, one of which bent the next day. I would suggest either making the card in plastic or putting it into a plastic sleeve. Nevertheless, in the future, I would purchase the card again - after making my own cover for it.
