Value for money for those using the public transport. Too many museums to see in a short trip. However it is a must-have pass for a journey in Barcelona.

The Barcelona card was great to have as it gave total freedom around the city. We didn't have to worry about how far anything was to get to as there was no extra charge for transport. I went to se the Miro galllery, Familia Segrada, Park Guell and La Rambla all in once day, with discounts on any entrance fees.

It was easy to pick up the card from Airport. Used it on the train and throughout our stay. Worked perfect and we used the vouchers to get reduction to some attractions. Definitely a time saver ;-)

I have to say that this card was an amazing buy. Although we didn't use it for discounts on food, the free transportation (5 euros for train to Barcelona, 28 euros for 5 day transport card) makes great use of the card alone. It was also great to see things that we never would have thought of either. The free museums are usually worth checking out for a half hour or so, and the discounts on the major museums was great. Most of them had at least 20% off, except the Sagrada Familia, which was only 1 euro off. I highly recommend this if you are going to see all the different Gaudi houses and want to check out some other museums!

Barcelona is a great place for a city break and the Barcelona card and guide book are well worth the money. It makes getting around to see the sights effortless.

I found the barcelona card excellent value for money, i think it paid for itself just in travel for 5 days alone. The free access to various museums was excellent and led me to one or two i would of otherwise missed and really enjoyed. If you're in Barcelona to see the art and think you're going to be taking the metro several times in a day this is well worth getting.
