I would recommend using the tour bus as an excellant way of seeing Barcelona. We originally booked a 2 day ticket and then bought another 2 day ticket as it was such a good way of getting around. The staff were friendly and helpful, the commentary was informative. There were so many buses that you never had to queue for very long. Thanks for providing an excellant service.
The buses go to the important sites, its convenient, safe, easy to use. I always look to see if there is a Hop on Hop Off bus whereever we gio.
great deal! take the two day option as it needs two days at least to see most of what the city has to offer. Highlights were the Gaudi park, the castle with its wonderful views over the city, and of course the Sagrada familia. Wow what a building! The visit to the fun fair up the funicular railway and the 100 year old tram were also great. The bus carries a guide and they all speak great English plus the free earphones provide a running commentary in a variety of languages. Hop on and get off as often as you please as the buses are frequent, and reliable. Make sure in the winter to dress warmly and take gloves. All in all a great value for money trip, and cheaper via viator than buying in Barcelona. To pick up your tickets, discount vouchers, maps just go over to the information desk when leaving the airport. Easy!
Five of my party of six had never been to Barcelona before, and the one who had didn't recall specifics of how to get to key spots. The Hop On/Hop Off bus was worth every penny, and was really convenient, informative (loved the recorded info in multi language format), and we were able to see everything we had on our list with no problems. I would recommend this type of self-guided tour transportation to anyone, and I'd use it again in any city where it might be available. We booked online and picked up our tickets at Placa Catalunya, and were off and running in no time. Great value!

Expensive but well worth the money. We bought a two day ticket and for a first visit to Barcelona think it was great for getting our bearings, seeing the sights and then retracing our steps.

Great service from viator.com, got 10% off from booking online. Exchanging the voucher was so easy. The tour itself is more than amazing, the audio guide is good. I recommend the tour to any tourist in Barcelona but prepare yourself for long walks, take it very early to be able to see all the places. Also, take the two buses in two separate days. Very recommended very good service. God bless Barcelona.

The hop-on hop off bus is a fantastic way to see Barcelona. We had booked this for two days and to do both the red and blue routes you really need two days. However, if I did this tour again I wouldn't book in advance. Tickets can be purchased almost everywhere and availability is well signposted. We found it very hard to find the centre where we had to collect our tickets which was underground in a plaza in the middle of cross roads (not underneath a store which was closed when we were there). It would be more convenient to buy tickets where you happened to be rather than have to find the location of the centre to collect them.
If there were six stars, I would rate it all six. Barcelona was the best part of our trip, and Hop-on Hop-off was the best way to see it all. We would definitely go with VIATOR again.
