Very regular buses, no long waits and the audio worked on all buses we were on. It was a great way of providing a physical overview of the city and attending the most popular Gaudi buildings also the art galleries. Our 2day tickets were well used
This is a very good trip and well with the money hop on hop off also the staff were excellent and friendly and the drivers were very good will use again on next visit
It was a great way to get an orientation and feel of the city. The verbal guide on the green route was excellent. The English speaking guides on of the orange route tried to be too cute which caused them give less information about the route and city. All guides spoke excellent English. Over all it was a great way to start out visit to Barcelona.
A great way to see the city and then plan what needed more investigation
I've been to many hop on hop off tours but this is by far the BEST of all.
It's good value the price includes both lines, it is very informative, it covers every important landmarks in barcelona and the bus is very comfortable
The recording on the bus even tells you small tips such as good places to eat and also useful language phrases in between landmarks or if the bus got caught in traffic.
Excellent! Recommend to anyone traveling to Barcelona. The best way to check out all important sites.
Excellent trip and service. This is a good method of getting to know the city layout and decide what attractions to see.
Excellent hop on/off with very interesting commentary. Some stops can get quite busy eg La Sagrada Familia, so try to start as early as you can. I travelled in May. Not sure how it copes during peak July/August period. The 2 day pass helped as you need to travel some distances to see attractions. I used this pass in conjunction with a few days in a hotel prior to the start of a cruise where the ship stayed in port the first day.
Great way to get around! You can see the entire city if you take both routes.
Great to do once to get your bearings, but only need to do once. We rode the loop then went back to places on public transport or bikes.
A really good way to see the main sights of Barcelona especially if you don't have a lot of time there.
This is a fantastic way to get to know the city the first day you arrive - the narration is multilingual and gave good information. Reserving online in advance saved us some money. We were there over Easter weekend, and family members who wanted to go touring with us were able to get their tickets in the Placa de Catalunya fairly easily. Those are into photography from the top of the bus may find themselves somewhat frustrated with the topmost rail of the bus: it's good for safety but gets in the way of what could otherwise be great pictures of tall buildings ahead. But that's a minor complaint overall we enjoyed ourselves very much.
Did the 2 day trip. Which unless your a mountain goat or walker is excellent for seeing most of the sights. We where lucky with the weather as we managed the open top bus which upstairs gives a fantastic view of the city. Beware though you could come back with neck strain from still looking up at the beautiful buildings. If I am lucky enough to go again to Barcelona I would still do these tours, as opposed to finding buses, trains ect.
