Disembark your cruise ship at Barcelona port and climb aboard an air-conditioned minivan to ascend the incline of Montjuic Hill. Visit impressive monuments like the Olympic Ring and capture fabulous photographs beside Montjuic Castle, a stolid structure that gazes solemnly over the city.

Then, admire Antoni Gaudi’s modernist masterpiece with a visit to La Sagrada Familia, an extraordinary example of ecclesiastical extravagance, before stopping by Casa Batllo. Stroll down the sophisticated shopping strip of Passeig de Gracia then ascend to the veritignous vantage point of Park Grüell, a vast outdoor space considered one of the world’s most impressive. See richly decorated sculptures and famous features like the dragon staircase before your next destination.

Next, escape the crowds of Barcelona to explore the natural splendor of Montserrat, a rugged mountain declared Spain’s first national park. This is a very long tour, bring snacks or food and water. The view of Montserrat was worth the drive. Sagrada Famillia was magnificent, saw only the outside of the church. Our tour guide was very good, professional and intelligent, learned about Famous Gaudi who started building and planned Sagrada Familia, park Guell, and some unique buildings in Barcelona. I would recommend this tour for in depth 1 day shore excursion tour. If you want to enjoy your Paella and Sangria, stay another day in Barcelona. I will be back in 2026 to see the completed Sagrada Familia church.

We were on an 11 day cruise and took a tour every day. This was by far the best tour and the very best tour guide we had the entire trip. The guide was 1st class...knowledgeable about everything we saw and spoke perfect English. We enjoyed the tour immensely. We would recomend it to anyone .

This was a fantastic excursion we were on after getting off our cruise ship in the port of Barcelona. Be sure to keep the local number of the tour agency conducting it the ship actually let us off either of two exits, so a quick call to the tour agency made sure we went to the right exit to be picked up by their shuttle bus. Just as described, this tour let us pack in a great deal in the limited time we had between when we were let off the ship, and had to return to the port. I highly recommend this tour if you are in Barcelona only for a day, especially if you are there as part of a cruise. The tour guide, time at locations, and sights were excellent.

Our guide, Elizabeth was excellent. She was a wealth of knowledge, very well organized and made sure we saw all of the highlights. We definitely want to return to Barcelona and would enjoy future tours with her guidance.

Our tour guide Elizabeth Ellie was very knowledgeable and personable. The van was comfortable but if the sight was on the right side and you were sitting on the left side, you didn't see it. I strongly suggest/urge that when passing the amazing architecture of Gaudi in the city, the van stops and lets everyone out so everyone can see them. I missed Le Pereda simply because I was on the wrong side of the van. We also didn't have enough time to see everything in Park Guell, which I would have liked to do. Perhaps another 20 minutes and we would have seen the rest. Montserrat was spectacular. You really need a full day to see that area.

Montserrat was Magical! Our guide Sylvia was so very knowledgeable and did a wonderful job leading our group. Be warned that the drive is on a winding road so if you are prone to car sickness, you might take a pill. We saw the major sites in Barcelona as well. I do wish we had been given a bit of free time around La Sagrada Familia as there were some great shopping spots and street artists, but I understand we had a lot of ground to cover and there was just not enough time. The day was great and we feel like we got a great first taste of Barcelona!
