Small tour, with a great tour guide Gemma. She was very knowledgable and engaging throughout the tour! This is a MUST, wouldn't have been able to get around Barce like this on my own. On your own time get to the Gothic Quarter and go to the Picasso museum.
very good day, nice tour in the city before going to Montserrat.
The place is really amazing, with a nice atmosphere,
our guide Eva was very good.
This was an excellent tour. The bus was very comfortable and the tour guide, whose name was Christian, was extremely informative. He showed us all the important sites and provided us with a very good overview of the history and current social situation experienced by the people of Barcelona. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in understanding Gaudi's Barcelona.
FANTASTIC!!!! I can't say enough about this tour! Montserrat was absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! The view was absolutely breathtaking, our guide/driver wonderful/well informed. We enjoyed EVERY moment of this tour...as one of my clients quoted "that tour could NOT be beat".
This tour is excellent for first time travellers in Barcelona. It was a good introduction to the city as it will take you to most of tourist attractions in Barcelona including Guell Park,Familia Sagrada and Montjuic Park. The highlight of this tour is Montserrat. It is about an hour drive from Barcelona City. The view that you get from up there was amazing. We had the best seats in the Cathedral to witness the performance of the Boys Choir.Another plus point about the tour was the hotel pick-up and drop-off.
This tour worked out well for me and my travel companion because we only had 3 days in Barcelona and we were time crunched. We were picked up at our hotel at the time we were told to be in the lobby, and we were with one other couple in the van. We went to Montserrat first so that we could beat the tourist crowd as it was a Saturday morning. Our guide brought us to the town square and to the cathedral and asked us what we wanted to do. My companion and I wanted to see the museum and go shopping, and the other couple wanted to hike up to the top of the mountain. He gave us a meeting place to meet within an hour and we all went our separate ways.
We drove back down to the city and from there we stopped for a lunch at a tapas bar our guide suggested. It was great! From there the city tour began. He drove all over the city and let us out at each stop to take pictures. I was happy we didn't go into any of the buildings because there wouldn't have been time for that and we were tired already. At the end of the day, we asked him to drop us off at the shopping mall near our hotel and he did. I liked this kind of tour very much because I could see the city all in one day and I was only in Barcelona for 3 days so I got time to do other things. 5 stars! I believe my guide's name was Alex, but I can't remember. Thanks, Alex!
This was one of our best excursions we did. The smaller group was fantastic. The tour guide was the best one we had of the whole trip. I would rather have skipped Montserrat and gone inside the holy family church. However Montserrat was still really wonderful. If you only have one or two days in Barcelona this is a great way to see a lot of it. I would highly recommend this trip.
The guide was very proffesional nice person and had wonderful time. The only thing I was concern was I could not contact directly to the tour company, so though I had some questions but hardly asked. (pick up points and possibility to change date). But anyway, we enjoyed tour very much very safely.
Trip was long with curving mountain roads. The views from Montserrat and of the church were excellent. The Barcelona city tour was very good.
This was a FULL day tour and was excellent. Knowledgable local guide who provided historical and local information and spoke excellent English.. The three highlights, Park Guell, Sagrada Familia and Montserrat were outstanding. The trip out to Monserrat was beautiful. The tour is timed to hear the boys choir sing in the cathedral- stunning. Also included a lot of Barcelona city itself, like the Olympic stadium, the port, etc. Great value!
Seems expensive but very worth it. This tour takes you everywhere you need to visit while in Barcelona. Emma, our tour guide, was very sweet and knowledgeable .great photo ops too! It is a very long tour so wear comfy clothes and shoes. We were able to listen to the choir boys sing at Monserrat too. One star was removed from my rating because they failed to pick me up at my hotel like I requested when I purchased the tour and they started an hour late, failing to notify everyone of their status. Otherwise it was great. There were 16 people total on our little van-bus. Comfortable and fun.
