This was an excellent tour that first went to Montserrat and then toured Barcelona. Time in Montserrat was adequate for a relatively quick look of the area. There was no time to visit the Black Madonna up close as there was a Mass being celebrated. The tour of Barcelona was great. Saw all the major sites that the Hop On Hop Off bus visits. We know this because we also did the HOHO bus. Barcelona is a beautiful and friendly city. Will revisit some day.
This was an excellent tour, and the guide was very knowledgeable and easy to understand. There was plenty of time to see everything and plenty of photo opportunities. Montserrat is not to be missed.
Absolutely amazing tour! Covers whole city and beautiful Montserrat . Our guide Joe was just the best! Knowledgable and passionate about Catalonia which makes this tour is even more memorable . Did his job 100% and more! Recommend !!!
Its was great! We just loved the fact that they were flexible. They picked us at the port and dropped us off at our hotel. Our tour guide was great-she was very knowledgeable!
Do remember to plan your own trip to go inside Sagrada familia (you have to!) .. Rest all this tour covers!
Loved to see so many sites in Barcelona. Loved Montserrat only wish is we could have stayed longer at park guell.
The tour was one of best experiences of our visit to Barcelona.Martha's warm and informative company as our guide made the 8 hours Trip worthwhile.Monteserrat was a never to miss journey which we plan to repeat.
Our guide Christian was very very good. We were picked up on time. Tour was excellent. Every question was explained in detail. We also were given suggestions great on places to eat.
Small tour, with a great tour guide Gemma. She was very knowledgable and engaging throughout the tour! This is a MUST, wouldn't have been able to get around Barce like this on my own. On your own time get to the Gothic Quarter and go to the Picasso museum.
very good day, nice tour in the city before going to Montserrat.
The place is really amazing, with a nice atmosphere,
our guide Eva was very good.
This was an excellent tour. The bus was very comfortable and the tour guide, whose name was Christian, was extremely informative. He showed us all the important sites and provided us with a very good overview of the history and current social situation experienced by the people of Barcelona. I would recommend this tour to anyone interested in understanding Gaudi's Barcelona.
FANTASTIC!!!! I can't say enough about this tour! Montserrat was absolutely FABULOUS!!!!! The view was absolutely breathtaking, our guide/driver wonderful/well informed. We enjoyed EVERY moment of this tour...as one of my clients quoted "that tour could NOT be beat".
This tour is excellent for first time travellers in Barcelona. It was a good introduction to the city as it will take you to most of tourist attractions in Barcelona including Guell Park,Familia Sagrada and Montjuic Park. The highlight of this tour is Montserrat. It is about an hour drive from Barcelona City. The view that you get from up there was amazing. We had the best seats in the Cathedral to witness the performance of the Boys Choir.Another plus point about the tour was the hotel pick-up and drop-off.
This tour worked out well for me and my travel companion because we only had 3 days in Barcelona and we were time crunched. We were picked up at our hotel at the time we were told to be in the lobby, and we were with one other couple in the van. We went to Montserrat first so that we could beat the tourist crowd as it was a Saturday morning. Our guide brought us to the town square and to the cathedral and asked us what we wanted to do. My companion and I wanted to see the museum and go shopping, and the other couple wanted to hike up to the top of the mountain. He gave us a meeting place to meet within an hour and we all went our separate ways.
We drove back down to the city and from there we stopped for a lunch at a tapas bar our guide suggested. It was great! From there the city tour began. He drove all over the city and let us out at each stop to take pictures. I was happy we didn't go into any of the buildings because there wouldn't have been time for that and we were tired already. At the end of the day, we asked him to drop us off at the shopping mall near our hotel and he did. I liked this kind of tour very much because I could see the city all in one day and I was only in Barcelona for 3 days so I got time to do other things. 5 stars! I believe my guide's name was Alex, but I can't remember. Thanks, Alex!
