We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide was excellent and explained so many things to us. Danny the driver was great. Next time we will use via tour on our next trip
Martha and Ricardo were excellent! We enjoyed ourselves very much - Martha had a lot interesting information about the city and was very helpful with suggestions, and was a very entertaining guide/host! We hope to visit Barcelona again.
The entire day was well spent, and the perfect weather at the end of October added to the days' all around spendor! Our guide was kind, patient and interesting. The bus trip to Monserrat was interesting as we drove out of the city of Barcelona and though the countryside into the mountain area. Monserrat was lovely, and the visit was just long enough. The stop at Familia Segreda provided an adequate overview of the exterior. For me the best part of the day was our stroll through Park Guell. What a spectacular place. Our guide was professional and watched the older group offering patient help to anyone who needed it. Excellent tour guide.
I loved how enthusiastic our guide was and how knowledgeable she was. A great overall...
Our tour guide, Marta, was fantastic and the driver was a pro. Being a native of the city and well versed in the history, culture and politics, Marta helped make our day on tour a memorable experience. I highly recommend anyone visiting Barcelona to sign up and do this tour.
Me and my husband Richard took this tour last friday it was fab, Martha and the driver picked us up as arranged at our hotel, This lady knows everything about Barcelona!! She definitely made the tour more interesting as driving from place to place she told us lots of history...The tour was really good we loved the Monseratt mountains and got to see the choir sing in the church there it was so lovely, The gaudi part of the tour was also fab what a remarkable man he was!! Book it you won't regret it.
This is the perfect tour to cover the most important sites in Barcelona! Our tour guide, Elana, was so knowledgeable and pleasant. We enjoyed her and our driverJorge. I would recommend this tour and I would suggest they ask for Elana.
Excellent in every way. Fabulous guide, very well organized and paced. My husband and I really enjoyed ourselves. Would recommend highly!
Marta was the best part of our trip to Barcelona. Her tour was the first day of our 5-day visit, and she arrived promptly at our hotel. Her trusty driver Carlos was waiting outside with a new, comfortable van. The rest of the guests were collected in a similarly efficient manner, and we were off. The overview of she offered of Barcelona was illustrated with stops along the was at some of the major landmarks. Then, off to Montserrat.
Time flew by during the drive as Marta explained the history and geography of Catalonia, and no sooner did we arrive then she offered the highlights of the monastery. We were fortunate to catch the daily recital offered by the boys choir.
Upon our return to Barcelona, a stop at Sagrada Familia allowed Marta to explain the history and beginnings of the church project. I was especially impressed how she commandeered a display model in a nearby gift shop to elaborate on the design and construction of the church. We are glad we booked this Barcelona day tour through Viator and recommend it to others looking for a true slice of Catalonia. w
My Barcelona Tour was the best tour ever taken thanks to the professionalism, knowledge and charisma of our tour guide Marta. We were picked up at the hotel at the schedule time and greeted by Marta who introduced us to the other members 12 in total. We went to Monserrat where most of the morning was spent, to the Park Gruell in the afternoon, to the Scared Family Church, another building by Gaudi and later, toured several of the city highlights.
Martas knowledge of the history and visited points of interest was amazing and at times it made you feel even sorry for the early immigrants and for all the persons that struggled to build the wonders of Spain. After almost eight hours of teaching us she asked if we had any questions. I did asked her of the whereabouts of Diva Monserrat Caballe and she even knew the details of what happened with her and even told me about two other opera singers who have not been performing for years.
The tour itself is worth the money and for someone who knew the city as I did, was the best tour I could ever have. If you visit Barcelona, be sure to take this tour and if you are lucky enough to have Marta, you will have the best of Barcelona.
I loved the Montserrat area. BEAUTIFUL! I also loved seeing the Gaudi designed church.
The hotel pick up is a great idea, saved us lots of time. The Journey to Monserrat takes best part of 1 hour each way and is a shame as it was so busy there we did not have time to get close to the famous statue.
Our guide was brilliant! Where do they find people with such magnificent knowledge and people skills !!!
I would well Recommend this tour for a great 1st day in Barcelona.

This was one of the best things to do when you arrive in Barcelona. Great way to see the highlights a and important sites with a guide and a small group. Our guide, Marttha, was very knowledgeable and a pleasure to be with for the day. Great info provided. The vehicle was comfortable and the driver, Gabby, was efficient.
Our guide was excellent. It was a beautiful day but too crowded because of holiday. The landscape and mountains were awesome. Highly recommended tour and our guide was excellent! The tour was well organised and very informative.
tour was right on time picking us up and returning us to our hotel within the advertised time frames
great driver navigating the city
awesome tour guide - very informative, humorous and helpful, had great knowledge of and passion for her city and Catalonia
covered all of the sights we hoped to see - did a particularly great job of orienting us to Montserrat and making sure we had a good experience there - which we did!
We had a fantastic time on this trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgable and made our trip very interesting. The small group atmosphere was great compared to seeing groups of 30+ people going around with headsets needed to hear their guide.
I highly recommend this to anyone visiting Barcelona!
Elena and Gabby did a great job helping us to understand the background/history of the beautiful things/places we were viewing. Barcelona is such a wonderful city with a lot of variety of places to go/see!
Park Guell is an INCREDIBLE place to spend the day...Gaudí is quite the architect!!
The side trip to Montserrat is FABULOUS...the mountain views, the monastery are a wonderful site to visit!
It was of the best parts of my visit Barcelona! Guide was great!
With being in Barcelona only a short time we saw everything we wanted in one day. This was the best tour we had ever been on. The tour guide was most knowledgeable and made the day long tour fun and quite a learning experience.
Excellent! Marta was an excellent host and provided us with a great education on Catalan history.
Fantastic small group tour of the key Barcelona highlights especially those that are more difficult to get to via public transport and Montserrat. I highly recommend this tour!
Our tour was great because of our tour guide Marta. She spoke English without an accent and she patiently answered our questions and supplied us with a lot of interesting information about each place we visited - Montserrat, Park Guell and Sagrada. Wish we had more time though in Montserrat. Since we did not go inside the Sagrada Familia Church in this tour, we recommend that you take a separate Skip-the-line tour of Sagrada Familia.
