This is a great casual night tour! Much less people than on the crowded day tour. The guide didn't speak perfectly clear English but she was sweet and answered questions and repeated herself if someone didn't understand. It was almost like a friend was showing our little group (of about 12 people) this beautiful Gaudi structure. We went from the patio, to the apartment floors, to the attic, and to the amazing roof! So beautiful at night! ..and at the end of the tour, we gathered in the small ground floor patio to have champagne. It felt like a nice social gathering in this beautiful Gaudi building.
Wonderful tour and very informative guide. Would highly recommend visiting La Pedrera in the evening!
Great tour and especially so since it was in the late evening. Would definitely recommend.
I am a huge, huge Gaudi fan, I just love his style and design and La Pedrera is one of my favorite buildings. This was our second time to Barcelona and I was unable to tour it last time so this time I decided it was a must see. I found this tour via Viator and when I noticed it was a night time tour I figured this was the way to go. Our tour guide was very good, she had excellent knowledge about the building's history and about Gaudi himself. La Pedrera is a spectacular building and the apartment we saw was just beautiful. There were no angles, just an ever shifting flow of wavy circular walls. I know if I lived there I would never want to move. The attic and the roof top were really the true treats. In the attic space you could see where Gaudi used inspiration from nature to create his buildings. The attic walls had the appearance of a spine and ribs of a whale. The rolling roof top and the centurion looking chimneys appeared to be standing guard of the building. We noticed that from one of the outlooks on the roof and arch seemed to be framing Sagrada Família, Gaudi's current work in progress and probably masterpiece. It is too much of coincidence for it to be accidental and was probably by design to highlight his next work that was financed by this building. After the tour we were treated to a glass of Cava and chance to spend time in one the buildings courtyards. it was a great night and a highly enjoyable tour.
Highly recommended, Very enjoyable tour, the most beautiful apartment building in the city. I want to live there!!!!
Really enjoyed this tour. Gives a different perspective seeing it at night. Really highlights the unique architecture. The tour guide was very informative and entertaining. The cava was cold and delightful at the end of the tour. If you don't go during the day, or if you are too busy in the day, certainly swing by at night and do this tour. A great view of the city at the top as well. One note, if you want to go to the gift shop, go before the tour. The tour starts at 9pm (English tour) and the gift shop closes at 8:30pm. There is also a restaurant at La Pedrera if you want to grab a drink or food before or after the tour. You might need reservations on certain nights.
Breathtaking, amazing building! great tour guide who was very informative. This was my favorite Gaudi building!
We loved the Cava at the end of the night, and some people in our tour didn't want their's so we were given extra!
highly recommended, but make sure u head straight to ticket counter which is on the side.. a dream residency if i can afford it.
Tour was very nice and great even though it rained. The tour guide got into character and was very entertaining.
Even with a constant rain, the tour was fantastic and our champagne toast at the end was in one of the beautiful salons. I would definitely do this again on another trip.
