Girona is an interesting medieval town. The guide was extremely knowledgeable about the local history. The Costa Brava was simply gorgeous. Hiking through the forest to the secluded beaches is a must.

Amazing. Maybe change the schedule a little with less time at Girona and more time at Pals, or try to even the time out at each of the three cities.

The guide was wonderful and the trip was both varied and interesting. It was well paced. We definitely enjoyed Girona, especially the Old Quarter. We liked the idea of being given an overview and then following on what was of interest to us.

We had an absolutely fantastic day, and I am really pleased we chose to do this. Our guide was brilliant - friendly, relaxed and informative. This day trip had the right mix of being guided through parts of each place we visited and then being left to explore at our own leisure, which suited us perfectly.

This was a fantastic tour! We had a great time exploring Girona, Pals and Calella de Palafrugell. We even got to spend time with the family of the tour company owner, which made it very special. I highly recommend this tour.

This tour comes highly recommended. An excellent value for the money; you won't be sorry if you book it. Our guide was fluent in English, intelligent, humorous, patient with my frequent idiotic and annoying questions, informative, extremely well versed in the history of our destinations and a very safe driver.
I have read reviews by other travelers and was surprised to see the occasional complaint that the tour company was basically providing a transportation service. I would say that this is a product of one's expectations. Yes, it is true that the guide does not lead you around town by the nose, but who wants that anyway? We had ample opportunity to ask questions. Our guide gave us a walking map of Girona highlighting certain can't-miss attractions. I appreciated the recommendations and sought out those that sounded intriguing, but basically I followed my own path.
I was so satisfied with my tour that I booked an excursion to Montserrat for my last day in Barcelona. My review of that itinerary would be the same as above.
Girona was fabulous. We loved the flexibility to wander as we wanted about the town and visit the historical spots and museums as we pleased. Lunch and a hike on the trail along the Costa Brava was a perfect end to a beautiful day.

Our driver was awesome. He made the difference between a fantastic historical and entertaining experience and a simple bus ride. He was extremely knowledgeable and interesting. And he was a safe driver.

Girona was absolutely breathtaking; I only wished I could stay there longer. The driver was friendly, and the minivan was comfortable. I do wish we had a short walking tour around Girona before the guide let us go on our own. We lost about a half hour trying to find a back way to the city that our guide had suggested. I would recommend doing some reading about this city before going. I did not get the detailed information I was hoping for.

We very much enjoyed this relaxing tour. The guide was knowledgeable and friendly. He allowed a lot of time for us to be on our own which was much appreciated for a tour of this length. We were able to see a lot. Girona was a treat, as was the village of Pals, even though the weather was not very good on the day of the tour. The Costa Brava was just OK in our view, but that has nothing to do with the guide, who did a marvelous job.

The trip was ok. We could have learned more about this nice town having a guided tour to the the most important places. We loved the food at this restaurant in Costa Brava, a little bit expensive but the service and food was great.
