The day trip was worth doing. Torres Winery gave a nice little tour. It was interesting enough, but we did not spend too much time there. Montserrat was interesting. Instead of touring some of the sights like the rest of our group, we went for an hour-long hike on the mountain. It was nice to have the freedom to do what we wanted to do, and the views were great. Sitges was a small beach community. Instead of joining the walking tour, we headed straight for the beach. It was nice to lay out and swim in the sea. Taking this day trip was certainly one of the highlights of our trip to Barcelona.

An interesting blend--three very different locations made for good variety. Added nicely to the rest of my vacation.

Very nice tour, but wish there was more time to enjoy and soak up the experience in Sitges.

My friends and I enjoyed the experience in Montserrat.

Trip to winery was just okay; we didn't get a lot of interesting information on wine making as it was mostly like an advertisement for the winery itself. However, Montserrat was beautiful, and the walking paths around the peaks were a lot of fun. Sitges was a nice beach town and worth the visit.

Everything was really well put together. Only drawback was that we found the walking tour in Sitges boring, but we broke off and were fine after that. Good wines.

This was a great day trip as well. I enjoyed ending the day in Sitges which is a beachfront relaxed feeling town.

Better doing on a warm day unlike ours which was cold and wet. This did not spoil the wonderful views from Monserrat or the trip up the mountain. It's a pretty packed day and a little more time at the winery would have been nice. The tour guide at the winery was well informed and cheerful made the tour worth doing. Sitges was beautiful and would be wonderful to see more of on a hot day, again the guide here was well informed and happy to help. Will certainly visit again.

The tour was enjoyable, but if you've toured wineries, the Torres tour was a little boring and the tastings quite expensive about 5 Euros per. Also, 4 hours was too long in Montserrat and 1 hour too short in Sitges. 3 and 2 would have been better.

Exellent day trip, quite long though. Bus and guide were great, gave a great insight into Catalan culture in between stops. The torres winery is only vaguely interesting to non wine buffs. The multimedia presentation is boring but the trip around the site is good. Great wine shop too but the same wine is cheaper in Barcelona and the airport than the winery itself. Monserrat was lovely, great spot but 4 hours was way too long to spend there, I had everything done in 2.5 hours, including 1 funicular, and it got very cold when the sun went down and we were waiting for the bus to return. Sitges is a wonderful little town. We just arrived at sunset at the beach at the end of the 45 minute walking tour not very interesting, lots of shops and restaurants to see. I feel and extra hour here and 1 less in Montserrat would be better. Excellent tour overall, would recommend highly.

Great way to see a few things outside the city. I would have liked a little less time in Montserrat and more time in Sitges.

Good tours. I recommend making plans to return to Barcelona from Sitges on your own. More time is needed there have dinner and shop following tour, and tour guide can give information on return by train.

Torres and Montserrat was a lovely outing. Sitges was all right. Weather was spotty which made it lackluster. But it was nice to see the Mediterranean.

Misses a 4-star review only because, considered within the context of many winery visits I've made in the US and Europe, the visit to Torres was a disappointment. Impersonal, recorded information dispensed in a hot, uncomfortable train; no opportunity for Q&A with winemaker or knowledgeable winery staff; and skimpy single-product tasting that gave no idea of the range of Torres' wines. The Montserrat and Sitges stops, on the other hand, were very enjoyable. The guide was knowledgeable about the tour destinations, extremely personable, and helpful with general and specific questions. She emphasized the importance of and enforced tour members' prompt return to the bus at scheduled departure times to ensure adequate time to explore and enjoy each stop.

Wine at 930am was a nice way to start the trip. Montserrat was beautiful and although the funicular to the top of the mountain wasn't included, it's a must to see! The Sitges part of the tour was definitely too short but it's a nice way to end the tour, by the beach.
