We really enjoyed the tour. It was great to see the countryside on our way - so beautiful! Our tour guide was terrific and we thoroughly enjoyed our time at Montserrat. It is so worth seeing! Thank-you.
Excellent tour of the basilica, it gives you an insight into history off Spain. This is our first time to Europe and we found the tour guides very informative. Their English is very good and the time we went there was a mass going on. Very moving and impressive. The ride by bus is also good in that you get to see how large the mountains behind the basilica are. If you have the time take this tour. We were there November 2015 and the weather was great, in the 70's.
We had a great guide and an excellent experience! Loved Montserrat! Be sure and make it part of your Barcelona tour!!
Montserrat has great views, but unfortunately you can't predict the weather and it was foggy all day with limited views of the mountains. However, it was still a great experience and our tour guide, Javier, was very gracious and kind. I wish we had maybe at least one more hour here to do more of the activities, but overall it is a nice place to visit! Thank you!!!
This was a trip experience to be remembered. The journey to the abbey was almost magical as the clouds and mist covered the mountains, lifting as we arrived. Treasured the opportunity to hear the boy's choir, unfortunately just not quite enough time to see the Black Madonna - would've required another 45min.or so.
This is the highlighs of our tour in Barcelona! The place is awesome, breathtaking and very relaxing.Received compliments from our friends when they seen our photos. Would highly recommend to our friends to visit this place, a must to see in Barcelona!
Worthwhile seeing- would recommend full day as much to see in short time
Everything was done very professionally. The tour itself went off without a hitch and we thoroughly enjoyed it. Montserrat itself is well worth visiting, especially if you have been to Barcelona before, as we had.

The guide was excellent. It was a beautiful day. The landscape was awesome. There was plenty of leisure time. Highly recommended.
It is definitely a must see place. very beautiful and majestic I would say
Our guide Christina is excellent. We enjoyed our trip to Monserrat.
Would highly recommend, it is a great place to visit. The views are incredible.
Excellent tour and tour guide, worth every penny we paid. The tour was extremely informative both in regards to montserrat itself as well to Barcelona in general. Montserrat is a beautiful place! Totally recommended.
Truly amazing! Went on a Sunday morning tour and was able to be there for the mass and the Boys' Choir. You could easily spend more time there, but this tour was a nice length to either sit in the church or take the funicular. Make sure to try the cottage cheese with honey and the Cocque!
A wonderful tour with a great guide...don't miss it on your Barcelona visit.
Monserrat permeates so much of Barcelona's being. So really a visit to the area is a must. Do get to the boys' choir to hear an uplifting performance, but if it is a crowded day be in the church 30 mins before to get a seat. The Art museum is well worth visiting too. If you like thrills take the funicular ride too, but you may find it hard to fit in all the activities. The foggy clouds lifted as we arrived on the morning tour to reveal beautiful vistas past the rocky, craggy outcrops back down the valleys to Barcelona. A quite unique place to be in. Tour guide was helpful but not overbearing.
Tour was excellent. Montserrat was hopelessly crowded. The location of the local tour company was not communicated to us in advance. Very frustration, difficult and lucky to have found it's location. Fojund it only from local police.
Enjoyed the ride to Montserrat and the place is breathtaking, and so magnificent. I just wish we had more time to see the Black Madonna, being a catholic. We spent an hour for the mass, being a Sunday, hence, missing seeing the statue of the Black Madonna. Guide, Juan was very professional.
Tour was great, tour guide very informative. Traveling from Barcelona to Montserrat was a beautiful scenic trip. Montserrat very educational.
