This trip was AWESOME, we had plenty of time to do everything and see everything! Our tour guide was both knowledgable and polite. I would recommend this trip. The views from the top of Montserrat are absolutely breath-taking! I loved the local vendors and bought plenty of wine, cheese, honey and sorts. Bring EUROS! :
A beautiful experience both inside the basilica and on the grounds. The only complaint is that there was no air conditioned unit or fans in the cafeteria, and it was very hot.
We could have spent more time here. We had enough time to do some of the things we would have liked to see
Fantastic day tour, lots to see. Quite hot so take plenty of water and expect long queues to touch or see close up of black Madonna. Gorgeous views, quite simply amazing. Excellent price.
We loved Montserrat, and the tour and tour guide were excellent!
This Tour is amazing! highly recommended, and the guide was extremely friendly and helpful :
Great tour guide and wonderful site to visit. Be prepared to get to the meeting place on time though. Our iphone gave us bad location info when using the map feature...so we ended up arriving at 9:20 vs 9:15 and the bus almost left us behind.
Not a lot of exploring time, especially since there were so many people there, but excellent experience!
Great tour! Our tour guide Eva was extremely knowledgeable with wonderful tips of information all throughout the tour. Monserrat is absolutely stunning! Want to go back!
The abbey was really interesting and our guide really pleasant and upbeat!
Get tour guide with a good sense of humor. Really enjoyed this tour.
The tour was very organized, gave ample time to go around on our own (tho half day is not enough in Montserrat). Tour guide was very knowledgeable and even gave addl backgrounds on the sites and places we passed by before reaching the monastery.
