Montserrat is close enough to the city. It is only about an hour drive. I wish we were given more time to spend there so we could have done more. We missed the choir because we were standing in line to see the Black Madonna. We wanted to go on another funicular but did not have time.

The guide was splendid, answered every question, and was quite reverent for the kind of tour that this was. I appreciated this virtue in him.

We thoroughly enjoyed this trip and would recommend it to other travellers. The guide was very well informed and helpful. We were lucky enough to hear the choir sing. We would have loved some more time to explore a bit more.

Very well organized tour. Half day is pretty much what is needed to really see the site and to enjoy the surroundings of this most unique destination.

Excellent English speaking guide - many information.

Definitely worth doing, but not enough time to explore the area. Take the funicular all the way up; it looks scarier than it really is.

The half-day trip is probably less than you ought to spend at Montserrat, but a full day would be a bit too much. Our guide was fluent in English and Italian and was very personable. Departure and return were right on time. Well worth the money.

Montserrat Monastery is an amazing site. We had a wonderful guide who was very knowledgeable and made sure that we got to see the important sites. The only drawback was that it's hard to see the whole place on a half day tour. We made the most of it, though.

Very very beautiful, it's worth going for a visit. However the half day tour is a bit rushed and a couple extra hours are needed to fully enjoy the place.

We had a great time doing this trip. The guide was very nice but it was hard understanding her at times. I really enjoyed being able to have time to yourself, but it could have been longer. Overall I think this is worth doing.

Great place to visit! Would be nice to stay there a little longer. It was not enough time scheduled between arrival and departure of the bus.
