Beautiful scenic drive. Small tour group with a friendly guide. There was a short guided tour of Montserrat at the beginning and then free time to explore. Lines to see the statue are quite long, but we timed it so we would be in the cathedral during the choir performance. You can see quite a lot if you plan your time well, but trying to take both funiculars and spend time in the cathedral is stretching it a little. The cava winery tour into the underground cellars was interesting as well.

Good trip to Montserrat, but you could definitely skip the Cava part.

Outstanding trip and value. The Torres winery was a nice tour, sort of with a Disney feel. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. The day went by very quickly and the trip was not at all exhausting. Montserrat is highly recommended just for the beautiful scenery, assuming good weather, of course! Overall a great day trip.

Excellent small group tour. Our guide was nice, knowledgeable, spoke excellent English and gave us a nice mix of guided tour and free time to explore what we wished at Montserrat. The Cava winery was very nice as well.

It was a nice day getaway. Definitely recommend attending the service and then hearing the boys choir. We brought a picnic from Barcelona and had great views while sitting on the steps. The cava tour was fun as well.

This was by far the highlight of our trip to Barcelona! As it turned out, my husband and I were the only ones booked for this day. The tour went on as planned, though. The guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient and answered every question we had about Barcelona, history and sights. He briefed us thoroughly on where we are going, what to expect and what to do while we were there. The only way to get to Montserrat was via cable car because a couple of week before our reservation, there was a landslide and all routes were closed other than the cable car. It turned out to be a great experience and great way to get to Montserrat. You will be give enough time to walk around Montserrat, attend the mass and enjoy the serenity of the surrounding. The cava tasting was an awesome experience! We were assigned a cava expert who walked us around the winery, the museum and underneath where wines are being fermented until they reach maturity. After all that, we had tastings of several bottles they offer. Overall, this is a great tour. Well organized, well done.

We spent 2 weeks in Spain, and this trip was definitely one of the highlights of our trip. Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, not to mention hilarious! We had such a great time - Montserrat was breathtaking, and the winery was beautiful as well. The group size was perfect. We'd definitely recommend this trip to anyone who goes to Spain!

Despite an initial mix up between Viator and the tour company which resulted in my reservation being missing for the day I reserved it, I was accommodated for the next day. It had snowed in the mountains and there were rocks falling onto the roads so the road was closed. Our tour guide took us around the other side of the mountain and we went up via cable car. Absolutely beautiful views! Due to the weather, the trails at Montserrat were closed, but the experience was still amazing. The cava tour was awesome and really fun. I have to add that I had the best tour guide ever. His personality and humor were awesome! Highly recommend this tour.

Tour guide was very well informed not only about the places we were seeing but the general history of Spain. Was just the right amount of guided tour and independent exploring. Montserrat was peaceful think the time of year helped with that and the Cava winery tour was fun.

Another wonderful day! There were three of us and we decided to stay together. After a visit to one of the roadside tables, where we tried a blend of soft cheese and honey, we hiked one trail across to a cross that looked to be miles away--only 25 minutes on a paved path mostly uphill, but not too horrible. We made it back in time to hear the choir extraordinary, but the line to the Black Virgin was ridiculously long so we took a pass on that. After the choir sang we had time to hit a gift shop and grab a bite of lunch hot food line was exceptionally long, predominantly cold food line not so bad before we went to the winery. The drive through the mountains was spectacular, parts of the mountain looking like people were carved out of it. Pleasant winery tour, dry cava. Overall wonderful day.

We had just the right amount of time and description to make the day worthwhile. Our guide, was a good match for our group, and the sites at Montserrat were breathtaking. Fortunately, we had the opportunity to see the architectural delights of the Codorniu winery and to taste their brute naturale.
