This is a good tour that encompasses Montserrat and a little view of the wine country. The guide driver was engaging and helpful. I liked the small size aspect.

Our guide was excellent, offering many appropriate suggestions for making the most of our time. The tour, a balance of structured and free time included history, magnificent visual components and a physical element. At Montserrat, after visiting the church and art museum, my adult daughter and I took the funicular to the top of the mountain to hike the mountain trails wear lace-up running shoes not sandals. We were also pleasantly surprised by the cava cellars tour - the people at Cordoniu presented a professional and interesting tour. We have already recommended this tour to friends heading to Barcelona.

We had a great trip. The small group was nice and it felt more personal. Definitely better than a big tour bus. Good value too.

Really enjoyable day out with a very knowledgeable and friendly tour guide. Would highly recommend.

Thought we had just the right amount of time at each location AND it was done in the best order. Believe it or not, some tours do a winery in the morning (perhaps you don't get to drink on those tours) followed by Monserrat in the afternoon. It was MUCH less crowded when we arrived around 11am than when we left around 2pm. The only real downside was our minivan tour guide was also the driver. So the on-road commentary was virtually nil and most of the info she provided at Monserrat conflicted with the official info displays. Shame. But an extra big thanks must go to Cordorniu for the fabulous, well organised tour of their cava winery. Definitely the highlight of the day, a sentiment shared by the other 4 people in the minivan.

This is an easy way to get to the monastery and not spend lots of time messing with trains. It's also Great to add in the winery on the same day.

I thoroughly enjoyed the Montserrat tour. It was beautiful and serene and overwhelming all at once. It was the highlight of my trip to Barcelona. Our tour guide was excellent and talked about all of Spain including Montserrat. The only problem was the Cava place was closed because it was Easter Monday and I wish we would have been told that sooner as we really really really wanted to go to the Freixenet Winery. I think there could have been a better replacement for not having have the Cava Trail portion of the tour, i.e. lunch or another champagne place, a basket of champagne or a refund of that portion of the trip. Otherwise it was a fabulous tour.

We had a great time. Not for somebody with a very bad head for heights. Our guide was excellent and very informative.

This is a great day trip because it offers both awe-inspiring Montserrat, with plenty of time to explore, and also a fascinating tour of a Cava cellar. It was a great day in the countryside.

The tour guide was great. One problem was that several of the attractions at Montserrat were closed. It would have been good to know that before booking. The Cava tour was very informative and entertaining.

Research Montserrat before you go so you can organize your time. While there is enough time to see the Basilica and go up to the mountain tops, you cant walk down the trails and then hear the choir. Our tour guide gave us time restraints so we could organize ourselves during the free time. Well worth doing! The Cava Trail is great for the historical relevance on the region and wine. Only 1 wine is tasted, but it's a good example of what they produce.

Our driver was quite personable and gave us some information ahead of time about Montserrat, and then had us explore the monastery and mountain on our own. That worked fine for us, but people should be aware that this is not a guided tour of Montserrat.

The trip was definitely worth doing, very relaxing and laid back. The underground cell was definitely a plus to this trip.
