This was an all day tour ending in spectacular Nuria valley. Our guide was Lydia, who was very informative and enthusiastic and helpfull., would recomend this tour.
We enjoyed the tour very much. Our tour guide Alexandra was knowledgable and enthusiastic. Visiting the town of Vic and experiencing their Tuesday Farmer's Market was quite a treat. Hiking in the Pyrenees was absolutely breathtaking!
Wow, what a great day out. Phillipe, our guide was fantastic and look after us non stop all day, even helping us with ordering our lunches in the little village of Vic. This tour is very scenic and relaxing, it was hard to stop taking photos. It was nice to go somewhere quite away from the noise and bustle of Barcelona.
It was a great one day excursion with a small group. The tour guide was informative and fun. The Pyrenees are stunning. Vall de Nuria is such a lovely spot with several options for hiking, and the town of Vic was also a nice stop on the way to the mountains.
The trip starts in the town of Vic, with a population of about 30,000. It's about 1 hour from Barcelona by car and it's a picturesque small town, built on the hills. It's definitely worth a visit.
The trip then proceeds to the village of Nuria, which is located pretty much in the Pyrenees mountains. It's absolutely gorgeous there and probably another 20-30 mins allocation to it would have been excellent. Very picturesque!
The trip then proceeds to its final destination, the Pyrenees mountains. The rack railway takes the tourists to the top, which takes about 20 mins. The tourists are given about 2 hours to spend there before heading back. More time should be allocated to it, because the Pyrenees mountains has about 6 or 7 hiking trails and at least 2-3 of them should be taken, including the cable car. Two hours was not enough for us - we only did a cable car and then rushed to do one more hiking trail, in the midst of torrential rain.
Our tourist guy was excellent - he was energetic, funny and pretty knowledgeable. Although this is the only trip we did in Barcelona, it's probably the best one. Highly recommended!
I am a history enthusiast so this tour was fantastic for me. Although we heard mixed reviews for the first stop (the town of Vic) my wife and I both thought it was lovely. Once we arrived in the Pyranees the hiking was spectacular and views were equally impressive. You have cart blanche to do what you please in the Pyranees so for those who did not want to strenuously hike, it was completely their option.
Our guide, Alexandra, was very knowledgeable about the area and history of Spain which certainly added to the overall experience. Was definitely my favorite day trip in Barcelona!
Well worth the money! Ana was our tour guide. Very knowledgable and helpful. Wish we could have spent more time in the little village where you catch the train up to the Pyrenees. Very enjoyable day!
This tour was THE BEST part of my trip to Barcelona! I highly recommend that everyone visiting the area take this tour. Ask for Isi, he's amazing and really knows a lot about the area. It was definitely and unforgettable experience.
My partner and I thoroughly enjoyed our day trip into the mountains. Our guide Fabian was extremely knowledgeable about the area and a credit to his tour company.
This was a great trip and a nice way to get out of the city and into the country. The small group tour turned out to be 15-16, and we traveled by bus instead of van, but it didn't seem to matter. The Pyrenees Mountains were beautiful. I highly recommend this tour!
Trip was great very green and enjoyable. The history and old building our guide Filecianano was very good.
Wonderful breathtaking scenery. Fresh mountain air and views to die for. Loved the small villages we visited as well. Perfect as a welcomed getaway from the summer inferno in Barcelona. I recommend not going to Europe in the summer. The heat was awful.
Absolutely worth it - stunning views! Our guide, Alexandra, was really nice fun and helpful! Even though the first town we visited - Val, was not impressive (but the Saturday we were there, their weekly market was not open! boo) - the amazing Nuria was absolutely the highlight of my visit to Barcelona!
