Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Skip-the-Line Barcelona Walking Tour: Palau de la Musica, Picasso Museum and Gaudi's Casa Batlló. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
What a treat. The Palau de la Musica is an architectural marvel. The guide there was outstanding. Our guide for the walking tour, Nil, was extraordinary. He gave us a marvelous walking tour of the Gothic Quarter and was very attentive to our interests. Highly recommend.
Excellent, excellent, excellent. Well worth the money honey! Brilliant architecture, commentary and pace of tour. Our guide was sensitive to the mobility needs of her group and knowledgeable in her anecdotes that personalised this Catalan experience. Picasso was a genius, Gaudi was a genius and our guide IS a genius!!! Thank you Viator.
Neil our guide was knowledgeable, passionate and enthuisastic. The Palau de la Musica is a must see and if an opportunity arises book in to attend a concert there, I can only imagine what it would sound like.
Excellent tour! Guide was very friendly and knowledgeable and helpful! Might recommend they add in the cost of Gaudi's Casa Batllo in the ticket prices.
If you want to learn some history of Barcelona and don't mind walking, then this is an awesome tour. It included things I wanted to do anyway and our guide, Gloria, was so knowledgeable about the city and made it much more fun than if I just walked around to each place.
Great walking tour with Gloria! She was an excellent tour guide, very knowledgeable and a real treat to learn about Barcelona and it's heritage!
Was good was of seeing the city, I'd recommend this walking tour. Our guide Gloria was delightful.
You can do Palau de musica on your own as this is guided by the Palau de musica company ...likewise Picasso museum can be done by oneself and I personally was not too excited by the collection
Not so good organised, in itineray mentioned a coffee break after the tour in Palau musica, but we didn't got anything, after that the origin guide didn't show up, so we left too late, in the itinary was mentioned that we have a olive oil tasting, but also this didn't occur. The site seeing was ok.
The guide (Olga) did an excellent job. However, she was unaware of what was included in the tour description, namely: coffee at the Palau de la Musica, olive oil tasting at Mercat de Santa Caterina, and audio tour at the Picasso Museum. In the tour we received Olga merely walked us to the head of the line, obtained our tickets and left us until she picked us up at the end of each event visit. We feel we were shortchanged for the coffee, olive oil tasting and the audio tour. Not pleased by any of this. This is the first time we have been unsatisfied by a Viator tour. Needless to say we will take this into consideration next time we consider Viator for a tour.
The tour started an hour late. The tour guide was a young woman and knew very little about Picasso. We got no gossip although we asked for it. We did not get to tour the inside of the cathedral. We did not get to see the market and no one opted to pay to go to Casa Batllo. Not recommended.
There were only two of us on the tour with the guide and I feel it was too informal for me, I didn't learn much about the city at all. The guide was pleasant but it just felt like I had met a local for the afternoon and was just chatting. She was nice Dont get me wrong but I didn't feel I got what I paid for. The other person on the tour was studying some sort of archeology so a lot of the tour was taken with the guide asking the fellow tourist questions about her work. Hardly enlightening for me. Sorry!
Palau de musica and Picasso museum were worth seeing, but we were just brought to the entrance and basically its on your own. Clerk/guide was a young girl that was helpful but by herself so had to handle other bookings in between. The market was a quick walk thru straight to the olive oil shop where we quickly tasted 3 different types, then done.
