Read what other Viator.com travelers think about the Skip the Line: Best of Barcelona Private Tour including Sagrada Familia. What they loved, what they liked and what they think could be improved, it's all here to help you make the most of your next trip.
Hands-down, the best tour we have ever done. This is worth splurging on due to the personal experience. Fabian was more knowledgeable than any other guide we have experienced around the world. He was easy to understand and customized the information to our interests. If I could give this experience more than 5 stars, I would.
This was by far the best of our three Viator excursions (taken from our cruise ship's ports). The day could not have been better. We saw so much, including a great panoramic view of Barcelona from near the Olympic hilltop, the 1992 Olympic facilities, old and new Barcelona, and the highlight - Sagrada Familia. This basilica was amazing. It exceeded our high expectations, especially on the inside. Not to be missed and don't just do the outside. Our guide (Lydia Sekouris) was one of the very best local guides that our group of frequent travelers has ever experienced. She was amazing, seeing to our every need, providing so much information, speaking fluent English, and being always cheerful. If you are considering a city tour of Barcelona, be sure to ask for Lydia. I can't remember which local agency in Barcelona that Viator used for this city tour (great), since they kept my voucher upon check-in, but we were so pleased that Lydia picked up our group of 14 travelers right at the hotel and dropped us off at the end of the tour at a most wonderful restaurant that she recommended, when we asked if we could go to a good restaurant near our hotel rather than being dropped off at the hotel. She, and her excellent driver, was always quick to accommodate our wishes in ways that most tour companies and guides do not. In contrast, our other Viator tour in Barcelona (with a different local agency that they use) was terrible. The guide was a bust and they required all 14 of us to find our way to their agency office, where they also dropped us off after the Monserrat tour, instead of picking us up at our fairly nearby Hilton hotel. It cost our group members a total of 75 euros to get taxis to get to the Travel Agency, where they piled us on a bus of over 50 people for our "private' tour. This extra cost of 75 euros greatly diminished the "value" of taking this private tour instead of taking the one offered by our cruise ship.
Feliciano was a great tour guide, good English skills, very knowledgable and passionate about Barcelona 's history and culture. Our adult daughter had a physical disability that made it difficult for her to enter the van, and on his own, Feliciano went out and bought a stepstool to assist her. He made the day very special, and worked hard to give us a great tour. Coleen Carlstedt-Johnson
Four of us were picked up at our hotel by Fabian for this tour. He was great. So knowledgeable, and knew the city so well. He was proud of his city and showed us different restaurants to eat while staying there too. I would highly rate this tour with Fabian. He was a good driver, and spoke well and clearly for us. He was patient when we asked questions. Thank you Fabian for making it such an outstanding tour for us.
Our tour guide, Lydia, was simply the best. She speaks English impeccably and shares history of Barcelona and Spain with flair, pride, and sense of humor. She took very good care of us, getting us in front of all the lines, telling us what we were going to see and what to appreciate, always picking us up on time. She went out of her way to make sure we saw what interested us. Her tour was the highlight of our trip for sure. Thank you Lydia !!!
Flavian is a brilliant tour guide with impeccable English and very polite courteous manners. He did make an itinerary for us to follow on the evening after we finished with him. I am very impressed with his high quality service and goes that extra mile beyond the call of duty. Please let him know.
Excellent. A "must be done" tour. No hassle, no fuss, skip the line at all attractions visited, and Lidia, our guide, an excellent companion. A lot of details, history, art details, catalan insight, all what you need to know to see and understand below the image.
In one word, EXCELLENT!! A VIP tour, no looking for bus station, because pick-up is from your hotel, drop-off at same location, or where you want. No "hurry-up" gathering for "the group", no hassle due "late group members" because you have this tour only for you. Price is right for what you get. Indicated for families or small group of friends, but not more than 6-8 persons. We were 4, and it was amazing.
Thanks Lidia for all what we learned about "Castellunia" (land of castells) and local history.
Muchas gracias por todo! Sorin

This turned out to be a very good tour. Our guide took us where we wanted to go and told us some very interesting history and facts. Well worth the cost of a private tour especially having the skip the line benefit into the Sagrada Famillia. Would recommend for a small group 4-6 wanting a private tour.
Excellent tour, informative and interesting... Loved our guide, Jordy.
Our tour guide picked us up at the cruise ship dock and gave us a great tour in the city. Veronica's English was super...she was very informative and we thoroughly enjoyed our half day with her.
Great tour - we had a wonderful tour guide - Belen - she was well informed, flexible and we all felt like best friends by the end of the day. I would not hesitate to recommend this tour to anyone, especially if Belen was your guide. The tour was well woth while and we sw a lot more of the city then if we would have tried on our own. the lineups were big now, I can't imagine what they would be like in the summertime!
We did a private tour for the three of us. It was awesome our guide was very knowledgeable and she was very flexible if we wanted to stay a little longer somewhere or skip passed it. Barcelona is an amazing city and we would have not known how to get everywhere by car on our own so it is well worth it not to have the stress. We went during the Spanish holiday so traffic on the streets and the line ups were less then normal which was even better. Would do this trip again in a heart beat.
This is the ONLY way to see Barcelona! Our tour guide, Lydia, was absolutely fantastic. It was like having an audio guide for the entire day. She knew SO much about the city; the history, the politics, the best places to eat, the Catalan nicknames for the various buildings, and to top it all off, she was hilarious. Having a local telling you pieces of relevant information about the different places you're visiting totally enriches the experience. Being able to skip the lines at La Sagrada Familia and La Pedrera was a god send (trust me, you don't want to get stuck in the line at La Sagrada Familia! It's mammoth!). The hotel pick up and drop off is great too, you don't have to worry about anything on the day of your tour. Even the entry tickets are covered.
Get a group together, pay the few extra dollars and do this tour. Our group loved it. You won't regret it.
