Our tour guide was Alexandra. She was simply amazing. Our group enjoyed her enthusiasm and extensive knowledge of the city/country and it's treasures. Her professionalism and navigation skills added to our enjoyment. We had the full day tour and it just flew by as we were immersed in the beauty of Barcelona and the history lessons she provided.
I hope if you take this tour you are lucky enough to get Alex, because this will be the very best part of your vacation.
Thank you Viator!

This was a terrific tour!!! Our tour guide Alexandra Alex was FABULOUS!!! She made the trip! She was extremely knowledgeable about everything with a great personality! Big thank yous to her and Viator for this experience!!!
Alexandra was a wonderful, knowledgable guide with many interesting insights. We enjoyed the tour immensely.
This tour was a wonderful introduction to Barcelona. Our guide, Enrique , was very enthusiastic and knowledgable about the city.
Excellent tour. Our guide Enrique took the right amount of time at each venue. We made a special request for a specific venue when we booked on Viator, but it looked like that the request may not passed have been to the company who did the tour. Enrique and Patricia at the local tour company came through and were able to accommodate our request.
We had Filippo as our private tour and he was full of knowlegde, very enthusiastic and made our private tour very special. Barcelona is beautiful and Filippo made it even better!
We loved this trip and the guide was fantastic. We would definitely recommend both the tour and the guide.
We hope that many others will be able to enjoy this wonderful experience.
Our guide, Enrique, arrived at our hotel on time and provided us with an excellent tour. He was very knowledgeable and appeared to enjoy the tour as much as we did!
This tour is fabulous, well covered, and worth it especially with the skip-the-line in La Sagrada Familia. Our tour guide, Alexandra, is fantastic and speaks very good English with great knowledge and history of Barcelona! She is very friendly and make us feel comfortable during the tour. We would highly recommend her as your tour guide for the trip. The tour is perfect if you have only a few days to spend in Barcelon.
Most interesting and historic tour of our entire trip of Spain. We visited local venues and learned about the local culture. Sights were amazing and people were friendly. Our tour guide Shaun was fabulous!!!
One of the best tours we ever took. Our guide Feliciano was amazing friendly and extremely knowledgable. We would recommend Viators to all our friends.
Our guide Veronica was wonderful! because two members of our party have hearing problems it was especially important to have a guide who spoke English well. Veronica's English was excellent. She was very informative and helpful.
The tour was breathtaking. We loved our driver Marcello from Adventure Bellismo. He gave all of us fun nicknames and made the long drive unforgettable. Guide at Pompeii was great as well. This was worth every penny. You won't be able to see all the sites on a large tour bus. This was incredible!
Hands-down, the best tour we have ever done. This is worth splurging on due to the personal experience. Fabian was more knowledgeable than any other guide we have experienced around the world. He was easy to understand and customized the information to our interests. If I could give this experience more than 5 stars, I would.
This was by far the best of our three Viator excursions (taken from our cruise ship's ports). The day could not have been better. We saw so much, including a great panoramic view of Barcelona from near the Olympic hilltop, the 1992 Olympic facilities, old and new Barcelona, and the highlight - Sagrada Familia. This basilica was amazing. It exceeded our high expectations, especially on the inside. Not to be missed and don't just do the outside. Our guide (Lydia Sekouris) was one of the very best local guides that our group of frequent travelers has ever experienced. She was amazing, seeing to our every need, providing so much information, speaking fluent English, and being always cheerful. If you are considering a city tour of Barcelona, be sure to ask for Lydia. I can't remember which local agency in Barcelona that Viator used for this city tour (great), since they kept my voucher upon check-in, but we were so pleased that Lydia picked up our group of 14 travelers right at the hotel and dropped us off at the end of the tour at a most wonderful restaurant that she recommended, when we asked if we could go to a good restaurant near our hotel rather than being dropped off at the hotel. She, and her excellent driver, was always quick to accommodate our wishes in ways that most tour companies and guides do not. In contrast, our other Viator tour in Barcelona (with a different local agency that they use) was terrible. The guide was a bust and they required all 14 of us to find our way to their agency office, where they also dropped us off after the Monserrat tour, instead of picking us up at our fairly nearby Hilton hotel. It cost our group members a total of 75 euros to get taxis to get to the Travel Agency, where they piled us on a bus of over 50 people for our "private' tour. This extra cost of 75 euros greatly diminished the "value" of taking this private tour instead of taking the one offered by our cruise ship.
Feliciano was a great tour guide, good English skills, very knowledgable and passionate about Barcelona 's history and culture. Our adult daughter had a physical disability that made it difficult for her to enter the van, and on his own, Feliciano went out and bought a stepstool to assist her. He made the day very special, and worked hard to give us a great tour. Coleen Carlstedt-Johnson
Four of us were picked up at our hotel by Fabian for this tour. He was great. So knowledgeable, and knew the city so well. He was proud of his city and showed us different restaurants to eat while staying there too. I would highly rate this tour with Fabian. He was a good driver, and spoke well and clearly for us. He was patient when we asked questions. Thank you Fabian for making it such an outstanding tour for us.
Our tour guide, Lydia, was simply the best. She speaks English impeccably and shares history of Barcelona and Spain with flair, pride, and sense of humor. She took very good care of us, getting us in front of all the lines, telling us what we were going to see and what to appreciate, always picking us up on time. She went out of her way to make sure we saw what interested us. Her tour was the highlight of our trip for sure. Thank you Lydia !!!
Flavian is a brilliant tour guide with impeccable English and very polite courteous manners. He did make an itinerary for us to follow on the evening after we finished with him. I am very impressed with his high quality service and goes that extra mile beyond the call of duty. Please let him know.
Excellent. A "must be done" tour. No hassle, no fuss, skip the line at all attractions visited, and Lidia, our guide, an excellent companion. A lot of details, history, art details, catalan insight, all what you need to know to see and understand below the image.
In one word, EXCELLENT!! A VIP tour, no looking for bus station, because pick-up is from your hotel, drop-off at same location, or where you want. No "hurry-up" gathering for "the group", no hassle due "late group members" because you have this tour only for you. Price is right for what you get. Indicated for families or small group of friends, but not more than 6-8 persons. We were 4, and it was amazing.
Thanks Lidia for all what we learned about "Castellunia" (land of castells) and local history.
Muchas gracias por todo! Sorin
