It was a trip of a lfetime for the entire family but the toilet facilities around Sagrada Familia were also rather limited and not well sign posted. Every church I know has plenty toilets inside and outside but this bit of detail appears to have escaped the great Ghaudi and all the other architects on that site. In fact should you spend any amount of time in the queue outside, you will have huge issues.
Also due to the amount nof walking on the entire tour we could not finish the last part of the trip around the Catedral de Barcelona, the kids were also just too tired. I hope by the time they complete construction of Sagrada Familia in 2026-28 the entire district around it would have been reconstructed allowing for a tourist bus parking area adjacent to the facility. Tourist buses are a reality around the facility, to expect them to park a KM away is unreasonable, what if you have disabled people and small children like we had?

Fabian was our tour guide and he did a good job. It was great not to have to wait in line for the Sagrada Familia. We covered a lot. Well worth it. The tour office was a bit hard to find. So give yourself extra time to find the check in as it is not well marked.

Incredible!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our guide Julia/Juliet (sorry my memory is bad) was amazing. She was so informative and fun. She paced the tour perfectly, she made it engaging and relevant for all the folks on the tour. It was the perfect introduction to Barcelona. She was so knowledgeable and fun and personable. I was sad when the day was over. It was also such a treat to skip all the long lines. The tour was just perfect. 5 stars out of 5!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My mother and I loved everything about our tour. Our guide, Alejandro (Alex), was charming, knowledgeable, engaging, attentive, and entertaining. The tour was the perfect way to start our Barcelona vacation. The only thing I would change is-- it would have been lovely if our guide could have joined us inside the Sagrada Familia.
Additionally, all of the staff at Explore Barcelona were welcoming and helpful. Anna, who was a guide for a different tour that day, provided us with delightful conversation as we awaited the start of our tour. More importantly, she recommended the restaurant 7 Portes as the perfect place for Paella-- she was right! Our lunch there was one of the highlights of our trip-- thank you Anna!
I will definitely book all my tours via Viator and recommend to all of my fellow travellers.
Bravo!

This tour is a must for all first time Barcelona visitors. It was very comprehensive, detailed and enjoyable. Our guide Fabian was great, his knowledge of Barcelona's history is impressive. He was super friendly and approachable and we felt comfortable with him and his english was excellent. I would recommend the full day tour which took us to places like Parc Guell, Sagrada Familia, La Pedrera, Jewish quarters, Barri Gotic, MontJuic, Passeig De Gracia and much more. Please note the full day tour ends at La Pedrera so you have to make your way home from there. Overall we learnt a great deal of Catalunya's history from an amazing guide.

Being out of season (January) my wife and I had our guide Niko all to ourselves, and he was very accommodating and flexible, especially with timing. Most of the main sites were included and we ended up at Casa Mila (Gaudi's amazing apartment block) where we had the option to leave when we wanted.

This is the best tour I went on. you get to see so many things and our guide Jordy is the best. Very knowledgable, friendly and helpful. The office however a little bit too hard to find. On the day, only two of us booked for the tour so we get to see the market as well. Highly recommended

Our tour leader was excellent. Fabian was well informed and spoke excellent English. He worked very hard to satisfy our every need. One mishap did occur. We lost $300 in a cleverly planned pickpocket operation outside the Guidi House. Otherwise it was a great tour.

Nicolaus, the guide, was great. Very passionate about Catalunya and proud of the history of the area and it showed in his presentations. I thoroughly enjoyed it. I am admit to not being particularly keen on seeing the Sagrada Familia but bought the tour because I knew if I didn't, I'd miss what Barcelona is so well known for. I am glad I did because I was blown away with the interior. It is awe-inspiring.

Nick, our guide was excellent and the small group of 8 worked very well. Skip the line is essential at Sagrada Familia and I would recommend the audio tour so you know and can understand what you're looking at. The walking tours through the Gothic district and Born were excellent, informative and interesting. We came away with an excellent overview of the city and were able to spend the rest of our weekend visiting the parts that were of further interest to us!
