Our stay in Barcelona was wonderful. We took the half day tour and saw most of the city. The tour was well organizewd and the guide was outstanding.
We had a great experence!!! My husband and I with our 2 girls (12 and 14) loved the tour with Neal our guide.
The tour gave us all the information we needed to get to know barcelona. The only thing
we should have added was a tour of Park Guell. Time well spent!!!! Thank You! The Petersons
Great tour! This is truly an all day tour seeing all the major Gaudi sites of Barcelona. The tour guide, Feliciano was excellent providing much need context to the history of Barcelona and Gaudi.
Best information and an even better value! Great coverage of all sites listed plus local informative sites. Exactly what one needs to see and do in the short time visit to Barcelona!
Good mixture of walking and busing. Guide was very friendly and very informative but did not overwhelm with too much information as do many guides. We were given sufficient time at each sight to wander on our own. A great way to orient yourself to the city and skip the line was a definite plus.
This was a really great tour, although we mistakenly thought we were getting more than we did. The tour included entrance to the Cathedral, but we could not go to all areas without another ticket. That was the only disappointment.
However, our guide was very informed and well-versed in the history of Barcelona, and her English was impeccable. On this tour, we got to go for a snack at the Market where we sampled some of the fresh Cataluyan food and drink. We learned a lot about the city and especially the influence of the architect/artist Gaudi. He was a fascinating genius, and through the expertise of our guide, we got a small glimpse into his incredibly creative mind. This was a great experience and one we would recommend if you keep your expectations within reason. On this tour, you will get to experience a panoramic view of the culture, art, artists, and history of Barcelona, so that if you have an extra day, you can go back for a more in-depth tour of some of the sights pointed out on your tour. I highly recommend it!
Our tour guide was very personable and knowledgeable. Thoroughly enjoyed the tour.
Guide was great and bus was very nice. Great not to get so worn out on our first day after traveling to Spain from the US.
this half day was a wonderful overview to the" best highlights" of the city. I'm glad we did it the first day we arrived because then we were able to go back to the places we wanted to explore more. It is a combo bus and walking tour. The half day tour was very easy and afterward we still had lots of energy to explore city some more on our own. Tip-- make sure you leave enough time to arrive at the tour company meeting place ..it was a little off the beaten path!
Our tour guide was the best of all the tour guides we had on our holiday, and made our tour of the old quarter worth every penny.
This was an excellent tour. The guide was very knowledgeable and we covered a lot of ground in 4 hours. We had gone through the Gothic area by ourselves the day before and missed all of the important sites, for example, the old Jewish Synagogue, which us not easy to find. There is much to see here, and not easy to find on your own.
We skipped the line to visit the Familia Sagrada, which is probably the most interesting site in Barcelona. I'm sure the line was at least one hour. Well worth the money. Our guide also gave us some tips for good restaurants
We really enjoyed the tour. Our guide, Lydia, was exceptionally good and the Sagrada Familia is nothing short of amazing.
