wow, this was the most amazing thing i saw in Spain. i studied Gaudi at art school and to be able to stand in that space and see exactly how it was meant to be, i was breathless . Magnificant. Skip the queue you dont want to be standing there waiting in the cold. Commentary was excellent, crtazy expensive gift shop but we bought lots none the less. It was the highlight of Barcelona - do it!
Always wanted to visit here and it didn't disappoint. Booked ahead online, so straight in without having to queue. A well maintained, stunning building, the genius of the man shows through even more today!
We didn't have to line up at all! Just showed the guards the printed ticket and we were good to go! Made things every easy! Its an amazing House, definitely a 'MUST' see in Barcelona!
This tour (audio guide) was very worthwhile. The audio was informative and the house was perfectly wonderful. What vision Gaudi had!! To see the house, which was completely his design, and the church with which he had to please others in his design, was quite a contrast. His nature influences were clear in both, however. Such harmony and beauty. I think this was one of my favorite places to visit on my trip in the Mediterranean. Don't miss it, and ViaTour offered a good value for the package.
The at-your-own-pace audio tour was excellent but, since it was raining at the time of my arrival, there was no line to jump. Yet one couldn't know this in advance, so I don't regret booking the tour to skip a nonexistent line. Here an audio tour was ideal. There are numerous steps to negotiate on different levels, and several cramped nooks and crannies to explore inside Casa Batlo, so a guided tour would have been rather unwieldy.
Go in and see an all new style of architecture based on nature and curves. Truly inspirational!
The home is amazingly beautiful! This is a self guided audio tour. I thought it was very worthwhile to Go. Im glad we had the tickets in advance because there was a line that we got to skip! I did like La Pedrera tour better but it was probably due to the personal touch of having a guide .Im really glad I went to both.
Enjoyed our visit, wish they limit the number of people who can enter the casa at any one time as when it's too crowded, it's no good for anybody.
We organized the Skip the line todo just that and it is a great idea. Got inside the Casa quickly. frankly we were a bit underwhelmed by it . Very little of the building is open to the public and the bits that are are very crowded so the atmosphere is quite hard to conjure up. We did a Night tour at the Casa Mila on Passeig de Gracia (another Gaudi jewel) and that is really fab. If I did the Batllo again it would be first thing in the morning before the hoards gather.
