We enjoyed the tour immensely. Julia was a wonderful, informative, and personable guide who was a pleasure to spend the day with! The towns are very quiet this time of year so it's easy to enjoy the scenery without crowds.

Our guide was very nice and accomadating. This tour was really interesting. We had a small orientation/walking tour of each village and then time on our own to explore.

Julia was great. She answered all our questions and more. The villages were fascinating and her information added greatly to our enjoyment of the trip. It was a great day, the best of our trip. The authentic meal we had in Rupit was fun and just enhanced our enjoyment of the day. We loved getting off the beaten track and learning so much in such a beautiful area. Can't say enough good about Julia.

The 3 villages we visited were all interesting and beautiful -fabulous photography opportunities. Julia, our guide took us on a short hike from one village for a picnic on a large flat rock overlooking a waterfall. Amazing.

Absolutely wonderful trip, totally off the beaten track for most international tourist to Barcelona. Nice combination of nature hike and historic medieval towns. After all the tourist in the city it's nice to experience something "before everyone else heard about it". Many thanks to Adrian who was a fantastic guide, tailor making the excursion to suit my interest as well as selecting very good local produce which we enjoyed by a waterfall; a pleasant walk from the well preserved town of Rupit nestled in the wooded valleys of the volcanic Garrotxa region. Book now without hesitation!!

It was an interesting experience. Our tour guide was knowledgeable but was not too welcoming. You will basically see 3 medieval villages. Each one with a different story and architecture. We went in January and because it was winter, most of the shops (in one place all of the shops) were closed.
