I highly recommend this tour, it was a great experience and a nice break from the big city of Barcelona. First of all, the places we visited were all beautiful, interesting and different in architecture and style. The guide was of the best one could have, sharing knowledge and answering our questions and we also had the right amount of free time in each place.
The restaurant we had a 3 course lunch and plenty of wine was excellent and low priced for what it offered. The landscape was amazing and the mini bus was perfect to drive through roads and landscapes we wouldn't be able to see otherwise using a bigger bus.
We were 7 people that day, plus the guide, and it was like a trip and hanging out with friends. Very pleasant and enjoyable and although we did many things and visited many places, it was at a leisurely pace.

This was an amazing tour. Must see for any visitor to Barcelona. This tour takes you through an amazing picture perfect landscape. Would certainly recommend. With regards to my experience I found even the local tour operator was very helpful. Guide too was having sound knowledge and answered our various questions.
this was great a must see. The guide was one of the best you could have. the views the villages were out of this world plus the 2nd village where we had lunch was very enjoyable. When you have wine they open a bottle on the table and you can have want you like.
This was the best tour I've been on so far! The villages were great and our guide Nick was knowledgeable and willing to tailor stopping for some great pictures of the Pyrenees mountain views! Small group touring is really the way to go! The towns were not packed with other tourists while we were there, so it was really great. Wonderful guide too!
A terrific trip! Our guide, Feliciano, was knowledgeable about the towns we visited but could also chat about Spanish history, culture and pilotics -- a pleasure to spend the day with him. We heard about Catalan history on the drive out, and the small group made it possible to ask questions and have a relaxed conversation. . The mix of guided tour and free time was just right. As for the scenery, it was spectacular. This outing was one of the highlights of our vacation, well worth the money.
Fantastic tour. Places are spectacular, unspoilt and not overcrowded. The guide, Feliciano, was great. Very knowledgeable and went out of his way to make it a great trip. Because the trips offered by the tour operator are small groups, you feel like they are personal trips. Definitely recommend this trip.
Wonderful!! Our tour guide was knowledgeable and friendly. It was intimate, our being a group of 8 in a small comfortable van. The sights were just amazing and I have never seen such a awesome view as we saw from the top of the Perrine's mountains. A must see!!
It was a wonderful day! We arrived in Besalu before the crowds and had plenty of time to roam the tiny streets of this amazing village. The suspension bridge into Rupit was a fun surprise and the town was just, again, full of winding streets and beautiful mountain views. The last stop, Tavertet provided more amazing mountain views. It was a great day trip out of Barcelona, to get a feel for the surroundings and hidden gems in Catalonia.
Those villages are so beautiful. Although it was raining the whole trip, I enjoyed it a lot. Highly recommended. Julia, our guide, is so friendly. This trip is not only suitable for those who have short stay in Barcelona like me, but might be useful for those who want to seek for a wonderful village for a 'true' vacation.
If you love history and want to tour three different medieval villages, this is a trip worth taking. I enjoyed the comments from the extremely knowledgeable tour guide and the opportunity to explore the cities on my own for a brief period of time. The pass between villages two and three provided spectacular views of the mountains and the surrounding valleys and villages/towns, as well as being able to see the beauty of the countryside.
Great trip -- the guide, Feliciano, was really nice and knowledgeable. He took us to some very nice spots and also offered a lot of commentary about life in Barcelona more generally.
This tour was fantastic! Our tour guide Ana was a bundle of energy. She made sure we had plenty of time in each of the villages and stopped many times on the road for us to get pictures of the view up the mountain. It was a wonderful way to spend the day and a break from the hustle and bustle of the city.
Excellent tour. Away from the crowds. Not rushed. We all had a great day.
Anna, our guide was an absolute joy. We had a small, mini van group of 5 and it was a very personal experience. We went to three villages and a delightful mountain top cliff view amongst cows. We had plenty of free time to explore each village with a special Lunch (at our own expense). This trip was amazing and a delightful way to explore countryside Spain. My only complaint is that These trips are rather expensive when you have to buy your own lunch in places with very limited choice thereby hiked prices. Despite this, do not miss this tour of fully functioning 1000 year old medieval villages.
