Excellent tour, our guide Lorenzo was so informative and fun too. A must if your in Barcelona for anytime.
The tour was awesome! Lorenzo the guide was very knowledgable about the history of Catalunya and the winery which made the experience so fun!
Full day tour provided a unique golf opportunity and wine was excellent
The bus ride from Barcelona to Montserrat was wonderful! The tour guide (Mart) did a wonderful job explaining the (Gaudi) Architecture as we left the outskirts of Barcelona and also gave us a little bit of the history of the area. Very informative. Montserrat is a site worth seeing and the wine tour was also very good. I was impressed with the wines and the Tapas were also very tasty! Good conversation, good new friends and another great Spain adventure!
It was a local company and the winery was plentiful! Not a drop spared ... The "lunch" was hordeouvs (which is the only thing I would change or ask to be improved). Highly recommended
Even though we were rushed through a number of sites because it was only a half-day, this was a very good tour. The guide was friendly and engaging and extremely knowledgable. The wine and cheese tasting was the best part of the tour. The food pairings were great and it was a nice way to end the tour.
Just enough time in each place. Tour guide was very informative and professional. Very comfortable transportation. A must do!
The tour was amazing! Great views, the guide eva was terrific, very nice very informative and helpful, the wine was exquisite and the tapas also, i would definetly recommend it!!
Could not fault a single thing. The absolute highlight of Barcelona (and I did/saw a lot). I can not wait to be back in Barcelona and doing this tour again! Highly, highly recommend !
Fantastic tour! Our guide Paolina was knowledge and enthusiastic. I did the half day tour
The tour itself was amazing, our guide was very knowledgable, unfortunately I can't remember her name. Montserrat was beautiful, the scenery was incredible, and the cheese I bought from the vendors outside Montserrat has been delicious. We bought two bottles of wine from the winery also, and enjoyed them immensely. BUT, the trip started out on a bad note...we arrived outside the Hard Rock Cafe ten minutes before the scheduled departure time and I was craving some coffee. I asked our guide if I had time for a coffee and pointed accross the street to a cafe, and asked her if I had time time for one. She said yes. I walked accross the busy intersection, went inside and ordered two coffees to go. As I'm waiting, my wife ran in and yelled at me that the bus was going to leave without us! So now I'm waiting on the guy to finish the drinks and make change (and btw, people don't hurry for anything in Spain)...
So long story short, the guide was not very friendly to my wife that morning, telling her she couldn't wait on us and was gonna leave us behind. And that there was a coffee shop right next to the Hard Rock, that 'he should have gone there instead' (she could have told me that when I pointed to the cafe accross the street and asked if I had time to go there). Luckily, after my wife begged and pleaded with the guide, we made it to the bus. The guide could have been way nicer to my wife in that situation. In turn, my wife was pissed at me for an hour until she calmed down after 'being put in that situation'. WE were the paying customers, there was no need for her to treat and talk to my wife the way she did. I mean, I know we're JUST Americans and she's a Spanish wine goddess, but she should learn some customer service. In turn, I didn't feel she deserved a tip at the end of the day.
But like I said earlier, the tour was amazing.
Juan was absolutely fantastic. Monserrat was gorgeous and the wine/food were AMAZING! Highly recommend for a break from Barcelona
My friends and I went on the wine tour and we had a great time! We had great red wine (even though I'm more of a white wine fan, I enjoyed the red wine they provided) and the tapas were also very good. Our tour guide was very nice and energetic! She was also very knowledgable about the wines.
Was an amazing experience! Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and very approachable. She would answer any questions about the tour and the city. Learned a lot about the wine making process, and the tasting was great!
We really loved the tour! It was raining outside, but Eva was a great guide, and she pointed out the highlights and gave us a lot of historical reference as we drove through Barcelona. The winery was very interesting, it was a half day well spent!
This was an excellent tour! Mat was a great guide who told us everything we needed to know and answered all our questions. The mountain and monastery were beautiful, even with some rain and fog. The winery was amazing, great tapas and wine. Friendly company, take the tour:)
Our tour guide was fantastic and clearly had a passion for the location and for the wine. The locations are beautiful and the wines wonderful. We also did not feel like we were pressured to buy any wine which was great since we unfortunately didn't have any room in our suitcases!
My partner and I chose this trip as we are wine tasting beginners and wanted a fun and factual trip. We were picked up in a comfy mini bus and the tour guide told us about Barcelona's history whilst we drove to Monstserrat. We chose the half day option so only stayed there a short time which was perfect for us. We then visited the castle where the wine is produced which was beautiful. The tour guide was a different person called Juan who was also very friendly and knowledgeable, showing us around the castle and explaining the wine making process. We then had tapas and did the wine tasting- it was the perfect experience. I highly recommend this trip, it was the highlight of our holiday in Barcelona.
Excellent tour. Although Montserrat was under haze and clouds, the guide managed to meet us early enough to get entrance into the cathedral before the crowds. At 11am the doors were closed to visitors. The guide then met us at the vineyards for a most extensive discussion of winemaking. We then entered the wine cellar for delicious plate of meats and cheeses with three wine tastings. She shared her knowledge with us and I feel that I walked away with an understanding of the making and tasting of wine far beyond expectation.
