This was a fantastic day. Feliciano was a fabulous tour guide and looked after our group very well. Great food, great wine, great company. Highly recommended.
We would like to say that this trip was the icing on the cake for our final tour before leaving Barcelona.
We were met by a very interesting, knowledgeable and friendly to guide called Felicimo.
From the start to end of our wine tasting experience Felicimo was at being to share additional information to us regarding the surrounding areas we passed through.
Felicimo first stop was to a amazing restaurant Emma local farming area which produces local produce for the restaurant and the village. The owner was also amazing Who was friendly and happy to talk to us guarding the local produce.
We were ahead of schedule therefore Felicimo was able to offer us a unexpected stop at Montserrat Monastery, again this was amazing experience unexpected. We then made our way to a amazing restaurant for lunch. The owners of the restaurant was welcoming the food was fabulous.
I want tasting experience at the winery was amazing the attention to detail and information they provided was 2nd to none.
We even had a couple of boxes of Carver and red wine shipped back home.
We would highly recommend this Wine tasting experience and hope that you get Felicimo is your tour guide. This wine tasting experience has been planned to attention to detail excellent timing.
We would deafly do this to again when we return.
We loved our day in the mountains north of Barcelona! All of the food and wine experiences were excellent. Our guide, Josep, was very knowledgeable and fun to be with. He has a passion for the region and the traditions and it was fun to learn about them. We enjoyed the tomato bread and learning about the 0 km farming. The time in the Parre Balta winery was excellent also. Our stops along the way were very special as well. We would highly recommend this tour or any other of their Small-Group tours.
This was a great day trip. would do it again. Alex was one of the best guides we had. Wine and food were wonderful. Had a fun day. Go hungry.
Loved this tour!!! A 90-minute brunch at 10:30 a.m., 45 minutes in Monserrat enough time to walk briskly and see the cathedral, a 90-minute lunch your choice on the menu, but avoid the lamb because it's full of oddly-cut bones, and a visit to a large, family-owned inery followed by a tasting of excellent cava and wine. Be careful to not step in sheep droppings at the winery! Highly recommended tour by me.
This was a great day! Our guide Fillipo was fantastic! We made an extra stop in Montserrat. There were only seven people in our group. The food was wonderful, the views were amazing!
Very nice meals and great wine. Our guide seemed only mildly interested in being with the group.
Had a great time with a group from Holland and a fellow American.Enrique was an accomodating host. Lunch in the country in the foothills of Montserrat...breathtaking! Not a fan of the wine at the vineyard we visited, but personnel there very informative. It was a great day!
We booked this trip outside of the tours included in our vacation package and it was well worth it. The first stop was in a small village where we had a typical Calalonia breakfast with wine. Lunch was in a rustic farm house in the middle of an olive grove. The food with wine was delicious and plentiful. Needless to say our journey to the next town was quite a lively one. Our guide, Enrique, was great. So friendly, great sense of humour and very knowledgeable about the area. He really made our trip memorable. If you're looking for a small group tour, spectacular mountain views with good food and wine don't miss this one. It was by far our favourite. Thank you Enrique!
This was the best tour. The places are wonderful. Food excellent and the british guide tour was the right man for this tour, funny and loving.
This tour is excellent as a city break and is a must for wine lovers. Our guide Enrique makes all the difference. He is fun loving and funny, just the right man on this tour and I am sure the entire group agrees on that as well. The whole day was merry and merry. Had wine on the included breakfast, lunch and afternoon winery tour. One of the most memorable tour I have taken in Barcelona.

Despite the clouds and drizzle, we had a great day away from Barcelona, north to Montserrat. The local places we stopped to make our own tomato bread, and sample local meats and cheeses was enjoyable. The low hanging clouds at Montserrat actually gave a majestic feel like we were above the clouds. Also enjoyed eating grapes off the vines, touring the vineyard, and tasting wines and cava at the vineyard.
This tour was a fantastic introduction to Catalan food ,wine and culture. Alex our gorgeous guide was so enthusiastic and bubbly. This tour was a definite highlight of our travels through France Portugal and Spain.
Isi was an excellent guide. Very knowledgable about the area and made the experience both memorable and fun. Great food and wine the entire day.
If you love food and wine and meeting new people from different countries, this trip is a must. We were on a City Break to Barcelona, but fancied something a bit different and were very glad we did this trip. The traditional breakfast was probably one of my favourite parts of the trip. You got a really good insight and feel of a traditional Spanish breakfast as you are taken somewhere where no normal tourist would go. The traditional Spanish lunch however wasn't so traditional as we weren't told that it was the Spanish holidays therefore for two weeks of the year, some people go away, therefore our lunch was based in a restaurant and not outside like I hoped We went towards the end of August. Saying that, the lunch at Ticus was AMAZING! The best fresh pasta dish I have ever had! The wine tasting is ideal for first timers, as it gives you an easy and interesting insight into wine and cava and of course the wine tasting part of the trip was brilliant. Our tour guide Feliciano was brilliant, such a laid back friendly guide with great knowledge of Barcelona and Spain in general. All in all a worth while trip, thank you.

Simply excellent. Definitely on of the best days of our travels through France and Spain. It was amazing to see all of the natural beauty and delicious food and wine just over an hour's drive from Barcelona. Guide Alex was very knowledgeable and personable and gave us a very nice glimpse into the local customs and traditions. Don't miss it!
This was the best trip of my holiday. The guide, Feliciano Doniguez, was probably the best guide I have ever had. His knowledge of everything to do with the area and of the food and wine associated with it was excellent. Don't have any breakfast before you go. The food commencing from the large breakfast to the 4 course lunch to the wine tasting is superb. Well worth the money. I would highly recommend this day out.
Absolutely amazing. Guide, transportation, food and winery were outstanding! Highly recommend this tour!!!
Words wouldn't be enough to describe such a beautiful day with our guide George ....a very rich tour in every way ....generous ..a very good variety of food and wines ...highly recommended to all ages ...thank you viator for making our stay in Barcelona remarkable ....

The tour was fantastic. It was a friendly intimate tour with 4 couples including the tour guide Jordi who brought his girlfriend. The van comfortably sat the eight of us. Each meal and tour stop was a learning experience in Catalan cuisine and/or culture. I highly recommend this wonderful excursion!
