An absolutely wonderful day with our tour guide Anna. Much better than we were expecting with a beautiful drive into the mountains, a charming breakfast and surprisingly elegant lunch both were delicious! and an awesome tour of Pares Balta vineyards. Was a much longer day than I was expecting we got back around 6:30pm but wouldn't change a thing.
This by far, was the best tour we took on our trip to Madrid and Barcelona. We took this trip on our first day in Barcelona and it was an incrediable tour . As it turned out, there were only two of us on this particular tour so it was like a private tour. Our tour guide, Feliciano, was just an awesome guide who gave us lots of additional information and useful tips about Barcelona, Spain etc. Feliciano made our trip so much fun and took us to some amazing resturants where the food was to die for. We were also treated to the magnificent scenery of Monserrate. The winery that was chosen was wonderful. It was a small, family owned and run ,organic and biodynamic vineyard. tThe wine and cheeses were delicious and we even were able sample some of their homemade olive oil. This tour was done at a very relaxed pace and even though it covered a lot of time, the time flew by and when it was over, we felt we had an old friend in Baecelona, through Feliciano. He is such a fun and interesting person and a great guide. Thank you Feliciano, for a truly wonderful and fun day ! G Henry and K Alexander
This was the best tour of my entire trip. The guide, Anna, made it seem like a day out with a friend instead of a guided tour. As we had all done Montserrat, she quickly found a cheese making tour as an alternative event and that was great. The wine tour was the most informative of any that I had taken. If you want an introduction to the Catalon way of life this is the tour to take. The food was wonderful. i definately recommend this tour. It was so good i will take it again next time I am in Barcelona. I loved it.
The best of our choice !
Good food; nice wine and excellent choice of restaurant !
The winery tour at Pares Balta was a great experience for us.
This tour only had 5 guests, so it was very small and intimate. Our guide/driver was great and very knowledgeable. Our first stop for breakfast was fabulous, the trip up to the monestrey to see the Black Madona would have been spectacular but due to the foggy weather visibility was very limited. Lunch was superb and the trip to a winery was very informative. All in all a great day in the country.
This tour was excellent get-away from Barcelona to the surrounding region. Our native spanish guide was very knowledgeable and made our trip very pleasant and informative.
Thanks from Finland!
What a fabulous day! Again, with the tour operator doing only small and exclusive groups, this was like a day out with friends - not least of whom was our extraordinary guide, Feliciano. I had been fortunate enough to be with him on an earlier Salvador Dali tour. He is the most animated and engaging guide I've ever been with; a true credit to the profession. We had great food set in spectacular settings, and finished the day at an organic winery that isn't on the usual tourist route. Would definitely do it again.
The Tour guide is very knowledgable. Beautiful and stunning scenery.
Wind and food are plenty and excellent. Highly recommended.
Our guide was Feliciano. He was excellent in every way. He knew his history and his food and wine. I can recommend this tour to anyone who enjoys the pleasure of good food and excellent wine. What a treat to be with this man.
I am so happy I found this tour. I loved this tour. I highly recommend this tour if you are a foodie and are looking for a tour worth your time. Feliciano was our guide and we felt like family. He was so knowledgable and full of information. The food was amazing. We went to the local places awesome.
A great way to explore the beautiful countryside of Catalonia, the food and wine. We spent the whole day seeing the sights and enjoying breakfast, lunch and enjoying the wines .
Absolutely loved it! The food was outstanding. The vineyard tour great, the Cava and wine tasting exceptional. Tour Giude was very friendly and informative and made sure that we were enjoying ourselves throughout the day. Highly recommended and thanks
This was a terrific experience. We were taken to two, very authentic Cataluyan restaurants with food that was wonderful! We found no other tourists at either location which made the experience all the more special.
Absolutely spectacular. The countryside venues chosen for breakfast and lunch were simply charming, and served up plenty of delicious foods typical of the area which you might not experience in town. Delicious food + fascinating winery tour = amazing tour. Many thanks to our fantastic tour guide, Jordi!
We had a great time on this tour. The restaurant is such a hidden find, deeply embedded into the foot of the mountains off the back roads. The owner was very attentive and super friendly. The food was FANTASTIC.
As for the wine tour, our tour guide was funny and very informative.
Thoroughly enjoyed this outing, our tour guide (Jordi) was absolutely fantastic. He made the day a very interesting one, really knew the history of the area. The places that we stopped at for breakfast and lunch were top class!! We would highly recommend this to anyone.
The tour was amazing our guide was very knowledgeable we would not hesitate to recommend this tour to others
The best tour we took from Barcelona. The day was filled with great food, great locations and a fantastic tour guide. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Barcelona! We took several tours while staying in Barcelona, and this tour defiantly exceeded our expectations, and left everyone very satisfied.
A wonderful day's outing. The mountain views were amazing. Montserrat (serrated mountain) gave Gaudi his idea for the design of La Sagrada Familia. We had a most excellent lunch at outdoor tables under the shade of some fig trees, and also had time to visit market stalls selling local Catalan foods. A highlight was a tiny medieval church where exorcisms were once performed. The winery visit was very interesting, and there were various types of wine offered for tasting.
May well be the best tour we have ever taken. Every stop was interesting and informative and being in a small group there was plenty of time for questions and answers. The food and wine were wonderful. It was a beautiful day.
Feliciano ... a great guide. Knowledgable, friendly, entertaining. Nicely balanced tour. Opportunity to socialise within the small group. An insight into Catalan culture. Excellent.
