We ended up being the only couple on the tour, so we had the tour guide all to ourselves. This tour gave us a great glimpse of the La Rambla area of Barcelona, and later ate at a restaurant that we learned about on our tour. The restaurant was a big hit with our friends!

Good way to see the sights and foods of Barcelona.

This is an excellent way not just to enjoy some tapas, but also to learn something about the history of Barcelona. Our guide was excellent; very fluent in conversational English, which is essential for the English tourist! Exploring streets which we might otherwise have missed was fabulous. We saw so many historic places and different styles of architecture, and we were lucky enough to see a wedding procession coming out of Barcelona Cathedral and also one from the Town Hall, both of which gave us a real feel for local life. If you only have time to take one tour during your stay I would certainly recommend this one.

Tapas were not very interesting but the guide was fantastic. Unexpected visits to places of interest and loads of interesting info.

A friendly and knowledgeable guide.

Our guide was extremely knowledgeable and did an excellent job! The only thing that was disappointing was that we were under the impression that the tour was going to be more geared to the tapas. This was basically a sightseeing tour with tapas for a snack during the touring. We visited two tapas restaurants. My wife and I were expecting this to be something more like "tapas hopping" like from restaurant to restaurant trying different tapas. This was not the case. Nonetheless, we had a fun time.

This tour was more of Las Ramblas, Barri Gotic area. There were 2 tapas restaurants visited at the end of the tour. There is plenty of food and wine at these restaurants, but the tour was not as we expected.

Person who led the tour did not give us an overall explanation of what to expect. Also, he left us at the last tapas bar long before we were finished. Also, the expected 2 hr tour ended after 75 minutes 1800 - 1915. We were not confident in our Spanish, and looked forward to this tour to introduce us to the tapas scene. We were disappointed.

The trip was more of a walking tour of Barcelona than a tapas tour of eating and drinking. I went on a tapas tour in Madrid through Viator a few months ago, and this was nothing like it. The tapas tour in Madrid should not be missed! Although our guide in Barcelona was very knowledgeable about the city, we did not learn much about tapas of the Catalan region, nor did we experience true local tapas. We ended up in a "chain" tapas bar. Overall, it was a good way to begin our trip and get a handle of the city layout.

There were too many people on the tour; not the guide's fault. Was slightly disappointed that the tapas were nothing more than jalapeno poppers on a piece of bread, and not even good bread. Learned a lot about La Rambla, but not as much as we were expecting to learn. No ambience in the two actual tapas bars we went to. We did much better on our own just following the crowds. Maybe this tour would be better as an introduction to La Rambla than as a tapas tour.

I think we expect something more lively. From previous reviews we read about wonderful guides. Our guide was very sincere. His knowledge very good and he showed us lots of things. Too many things in such a short time. We expect more different bars to try! We walked for nearly an hour before we sat down for our first drink!

This tour has potential but was overpriced. We ate poor quality tapas at the end of a walking tour. Our tour guide, while very nice, was very new and nervous. We found we learned more about the city through a city walking tour found at Placa Catalunya TI for a tenth of the price.

Our guide was wonderful. Got some good insights but the tapas were marginal. Would have loved to be able to buy at the shops he took us to. Liked the small group of 8.
