The tour guide was great and informed us of not only a couple of good tapas bars but of the city also. Well worth doing when first getting to Barcelona. The second tapas bar we went to has the best Sangria. Perfect for the hot weather there. We even went back there just to have the Sangria!

I would have missed a lot about Barcelona without this tour. The guide was very friendly and the tapas and drinks made it very worthwhile.

We did this tour because of the positive comments that were posted here. The tour was awesome. The tour guide was a native of Barcelona who was a true gentleman and very personable. He took his time taking us around the key areas of Barcelona. Many areas that he took us, it would have taken me a long time to find on my own. I was worried about what tapas and drinks we would get, but they were excellent. I would suggest you do this tour immediately when you get to Barcelona for you will get a good sense of the city and you will know what areas you will want to spend most of your time in.

This excursion was the highlight of our trip. Had we done a walking tour by ourselves, we would have never experience Barcelona the proper way. Our tour guide provided a very nice personal touch and was not only very courteous, but extremely knowledgeable. Although a bit pricey compared to other similar walking tours you get what you pay and this was a first class experience we will remember forever. This trip is a must do if you travel to Barcelona's Ramblas area.

Great tour. Not only do you get to eat and drink but you also get to learn about Barcelona and its history. My wife and I were the only ones on the tour so it was more like having drinks with a knowledgeable friend than a tour.

A wonderful way to begin our trip to Barcelona! We enjoyed the tour, food, wine, and commentary! If you enjoy food and are interested in the Catalan food culture, by all means take this tour. It is a great introduction and will lead to an enjoyable gastronomic experience.

Another brilliant tour to do in Barcelona! Try and do it early in your visit as you get a walking tour of the city for orientation as well as great tips on how the whole Tapas thing works. If you have never been to Spain or never had Tapas in Barcelona, this is invaluable info for your stay. Our guide was a very entertaining German who had hundreds of stories and as a photographer had a terrific eye for detail with the architecture. The Tapas were very tasty and a good variety on offer, though I'd let them know beforehand if you don't like seafood as there is alot of it on offer.

We thought this tour would be more of a pub crawl, not a tour of Las Ramblas. Very educational.

Good introduction to the tour of the old town. Guide was good. Too much time in La Boqueria.

I recommend doing this the first day, before you start forced tours of sightseeing. The guide accompanied me and an English couple through all small streets that cross La Rambla in the Gothic Quarter, telling us almost for each one an interesting story. With stories, legends and jokes about famous gourmet places, he introduced us to Barcelona's atmosphere. He had a few words about each street, each special building; he started to let us know something about Catalan culture. All your senses will be touched by this evening tour; you will see nice places, you will hear interesting stories, you will follow your smell to nice small restaurants where you will taste various tapas and good wine. I really start with right step my first trip of 7 days in Barcelona! Thank you!
