Alex was fun, talkative, and was considerate when it came to giving us time to explore. While the trip was not a history lesson, she was extremely informative when it came to the local cultures and history of the region. The trip itself was interesting and full of breathtaking views! If I can offer one bit of advice to future travelers...remember to check the weather before you go so that you are prepared!
This is an excellent tour; providing a memorable opportunity to visit these three countries in one day! The tour guide is enthusiastic and very well informed! I would highly recommend this trip to anyone; just remember, it is three countries in one day; therefore, the day is about 12 hours long! It is well worth the time and the money!
This tour was incredible and definitely worth the money. Our guide was very informative and we were able to see towns that we would have never seen otherwise.
The guide (Lydia) is very knowledgable and answered all questions to our satisfaction. The views are great. The tiny towns selected to visit are representative of the region.
Make no mistake-this is an Andorra tour, and this is the best way to get there. There isn't much to say about Mont Louis in France-I suspect it would barely make it onto a tourist map. There is nothing special about the fort-at all, and you can't even go inside. However, crossing the Spain-France border and seeing the language on the road and shop signs change is a small thrill, if that kind of thing appeals to you. Baga in Spain is better-but it just seemed like a lazy town with a bit of history that you may or may not find interesting. Now for Andorra-not only do you get to visit a small country that you may never do in your lifetime otherwise, but there is actually stuff to do there if you use your time wisely. Do your research ahead of time, hire a private taxi with the help of your tour guide, and go exploring! Don't allow yourself to be stuck in the shopping district for three hours. I liked the artificial lake at the top of the mountain with its adjacent restaurants, and a couple of sights in town that the taxi driver showed us. Of course it will cost more, but look at this tour as a means of getting to Andorra. And don't forget to ask for a passport stamp BEFORE you reach Andorra so that your driver can accommodate your request.
Ana the driver and tour guide is an extremely nice person. Her driving is excellent, and her explanations at Mont Louis and Baga were great. We even had a bit of Barcelona thrown in. She answers all questions to the best of her ability, and is very accommodating to multiple requests (and there were many from the people in my group). The van is nice: clean, smooth, and quiet. Overall, this is a memorable, perhaps once-in-a-lifetime experience. To summarize-don't go in with too high expectations, retain a sense of humor, and improvise. Cheers.
Is amazing for landscape view ;) must of the day you are in a mini van but is great cuz you get to see lots of places! You only spend 45 mins at Mont Louie in France, about 2.5 hours in Andorra la Vella and 45 mins in old village in Spain! The rest is driving!
Alessandra the tour guide was amazing and fun!
I love the guide Lydia, she is a nice Catalan lady and shared many about the history and current situation of Catalunya.
Andorra is really a good place for shopping, especially alcohol!
The 3 countries tour was awesome! Alex our guide was a ton of fun, very personable, knowledgeable, and great to talk with over the whole 12 hour experience that really flew by! Andorra of course is the main draw of this tour, but Mont-Louis and Bagà were really cool. Definitely book this tour!
Absolutely loved this trip to three countries in one day! It's an easy way to get to the tiny country of Andorra during a stay in Barcelona. With this trip you can get out of the city and enjoy the beautiful scenery of Cataluña, France, Andorra, and the Pyrenees. The French and Spanish villages were really pretty. Andorra is much more urban than I thought. We just walked around in the capital since there didn't seem like enough time to try the hiking trails. A drive through the more scenic areas of Andorra in addition to the capital city would have been nice. Definitely an invaluable trip though. Well worth the cost so definitely go on it if you have a free day in Barcelona and want to visit some unique places in the Pyrenees.
It was a long day, but well worth it. Walled cities, narrow alleyways, old times staring you in the face make it very clear that you have been transported to another time and place. Then there is Andorra. Who can believe a country entirely located in the mountains? But there it is. A once in a life time event, yet all of this in one day.
A wonderful, really magical way to spend a day. We spent 8 days on Barcelona and the tour was a perfect mid-week break from city living. Early morning meeting spot at the Palau de Musica is a beautiful spot to start out from. We traveled by a very comfortable, spacious bus. Seek out tour guide Feliciano Dominguez! On it's own the sights are lovely but add tour guide Feliciano Dominguez and you can expect a perfect blend of fun, humor, history, and warmth. From start to finish Feliciano was very generous with his time, open to questions, gave lots of useful advice, and gave us a fresh, honest insider's look into life in Catalonia. Highly recommended!
Nico was a superb guide - lots of energy, knowledge and very personable. Perfect weather and good group. The drive in the Pyrenees was amazing. Loved Baga and Mont Louis. Andorra is very touristy, but the drive there was great.
I had the most wonderful time on this tour, it was a small group of 6 and the most wonderful tour guide, Alexi from the tour operators. They are the best. She explained everything as we went to the different countries, history past and present and made the whole time a wonderful experience that I will always remember. I would love to go again with the tour operator.
Our tour guide was really friendly, informative and knowledgeable, speaking in an interesting and pleasant way and answering any questions we had. The journey in the van was very comfortable and they were very easy with adjusting the heating/air conditioning. The tour guide really knew his audience and was able to advise us accordingly when leaving us for a whilst in the villages and advising us on where to look around and how to find our way. My friends and I had a really lovely enjoyable day and I recommend this tour to anyone. Thank you!
