Jason is an American who lives in Germany. His knowledge of Nuremberg and the Nazi Party rally grounds is exceptional. Anyone going to Nuremberg needs to be on a tour with Jason to gain an appreciation for the town of Nuremberg and what happened at the Nazi Party Rally grounds.
Briiliant - our Guide was great, friendly, very knowledgable, respectful of all members of our party, and always conscious of the need of some members to catch a train.
I asked about the War trial Court rooms, and AFTER the tour ended on his own time he went out of his way to take us to the court rooms.

Our tour guide Achim, was great. Intelligent discussion, especially about the Nazi past. The most difficult part of the tour, was the cold weather. There were not many sheltered places to stop and talk, so most of it was outside. First two hours was old town Nuremberg, and disappointing to my wife was that although we got to see the Durer house, and the imperial castle, it was walking around outside these, and not going in, but for me, this was a great way to get my bearings so we could spend the next day doing these in depth. For example, the Durer house museum took 1-2 hours, itself. Lunch was at the excellent Bratwursthustle, quick and so good we went back again the next day. The sauerkraut was the best we have ever had, and the special Nurnberg brats were outstanding. Quick public bus ride to the Nazi Party Rally Grounds was easy, but by then the temperature dropped even more, and the wind picked up, and the guide suggested it was "too bloody cold" to take the walking tour of the 22 acre site, and not one person protested. Instead, after a quick walking tour of the unfinished Congress hall, we then went to the Documentation Center museum on the grounds. Unlike the boring sounding name, this was one of the best museums we had been in ever, clearly documenting the rise of the Nazi party, and its consequences. The architecture was outstanding and emotional, especially the long dark tunnel/bridge to exit. It really was like coming back from immersion in a different time to present day. Achim provided excellent commentary and some in depth philosophical discussion during quiet times as we rode the tram back to Hauptbanhof (central railroad station).
And his Lebkuchen shop stop near the Albrecht Durer hotel did prove to be a good one. We compared them to others available at the ChristKindlesMarkt, and the bakery fresh ones really were very good.
This tour was very informative and the tour guide, Sabri, was very knowledgable! Enjoyed!
Jason our tour guide was exceptional and the whole tour was awesome however even though we had paid in full and had a confirmation number we did not appear on his list so I would have been annoyed if it had been full and we were unable to go I did send you an email but have had no response
Very knowledgeable guide. He was informative and entertaining. He easily interacted with participants and answered all questions in depth.
Despite hot day ....tour was very good and informative .
Would defenetley recomend the tour to anyone who wants to learn about history of that time and nazi movment .
Our guide Keith was very knowledgeable of the history of Old Town Nuremberg and the Nazi Party Rally Grounds. He told us many interesting side notes that really made history come alive. I enjoyed his stories and he even bought for us some Gingerbread to snack on. Always a treat to taste local flavors.
We highly recommend this tour.
Our visit to Nuremberg would not have been nearly as memorable without this tour and our guide, Keith.
We booked online before arriving in Germany and were very happy with the results.
This walking tour around the Altstadt and then out to the Rally grounds was very interesting and our guide, Sabri was a wealth of information. The tour wasn't rushed but we managed to see so many interesting places and still fit in a lunch break. Thank you Sabri for a great day in Nuremberg.
It was a great tour with a great guide, Achim. He was very knowledgable about the history of the city and answered all questions in great detail. the tour is not for the whole day so you get a great overview in a reasonable amount of time.
Lovely tour guide although we have forgotten his name. Extremely helpful and informative. Fantastic tour.
Our tour guide was wonderful! My only suggestion would be to have the meeting place be the large central entrance at the train station (there are 3) Several of us were confused but we all found each other. The tour was very informative and interesting.
Excellent tour even though weather was rainy. Tour guide was excellent and had lots of knowledge. Rally Grounds were vast. Would certainly recomment the tour to others with only a day in nuremberg as it covers everything
Very nice tour. Our party of four met Jason, our guide, on time in front of the train station and we had a nice walk through Nuremberg with Jason explaining the history of the place and pointing out architectural details along the way. Jason was very knowledgeable about the city and answered all of our questions about how to get around in the city via public transportation. He took us on both the bus and the tram during the tour and pointed out great places to get lunch or a beer and how to order and eat a simple sandwich to-go from some of the restaurants in town. Great tour and we'll use Viator in the future.
Historical significance makes this a must see even though the structures themselves are not so well preserved.
Our guide was great.
The documentation center was very interesting as well.
The story and history presented was worth the visit for sure.
Fascinating tour that incorporates both Nuremberg's old and new history. Sabri was an excellent guide! Would definitely recommend.
The two halves of the tour made for a nice contrast; the old town and it's links to the Holy Roman Emperors, and the Rally Grounds and the affinity Hitler had for the city.
The guide, Geoff, was knowledgable and entertaining equal measures, and I thought the tour was good value for money.
This was definately great tour however you don't get access to anything.
Get ready to walk! If you have any disabilities, or leg issues, think twice about it.
While our guide, Jeff, was very knowledgeable, we felt that the tour was rushed. A suggestion: two separate tours - 1. Old CIty and the Castle, giving time to take pictures, etc. 2. The Documentation Center/ Rally Grounds and The Palace of Justice.
Our guide Jason didn't explain much. He just showed some places. The tour does not last 4 hours (not even 3). A waste of time and money
