We had a great cruise. The pilot was excellent in explaining the history of each island as we headed to the "Hole in the Rock". He had a great sense of humor and he was speaking distinctly over the intercom. The weather was sunny and warm and we had a number of great photo ops. The sea was a bit too rough to navigate through the hole but we were able to get very close to it for photos. A great value compared to what we would have had to pay if we had booked a similar cruise through our cruise liner.

First tour we booked in NZ - fabulous - over 3 full hours and yes we did go through the rock. Pleasant suprise to find out we could be dropped off at Russell on the return journey and were given a free ferry ticket back to Pahihia. Also requested pickup from campsite at short notice. No probs.

Excellent - well organised, and as with all NZ tourist activities - on time!. whole experience was enjoyable from seeing two schools of dolphins to sailing through the hole in the rock to stopping on one of the islands to explore and have a lunch break. Would recommend without hesitation

We were scheduled to arrive by cruise ship via tendered boats. The seas were so rough that the tender boats could not be deployed. Sadly, we missed the tour, but I wanted to advise potential customers that we received a full and prompt refund following one email request.

The weather was wind and rain so we were unable to go to the Hole in the rock. However the cruise around the islands was interesting and informative by providing plenty of local history. We also had the opportunity to closely observe dolphins who joined us for about fifteen minutes.

The tour took us through many islands in the bay before heading to the hole in the rock. On the way back we got to ease out on one of the many islands. I would recommend this to all planning this trip.. keep yourself hydrated, carry sunscreen, shades, avoid same day return to Auckland.. its tiring.

Due to the poor weather we were unable to get to the hole in the rock, but had a great time anyway. The crew were great and we saw dolphins up close, we had an enjoyable time and the atmosphere on boards was great.

Amazing views throughout. Was able to see dolphins on my trip as well. Get there early so that you can get a good seat on the boat
