This tour was on our agenda as it was just prior to the 70th anniversary of the D-Day landing. it was most important to both the wife and her sister as their father made the landing on the 7th. Both were very much interested in the Omaha Beach area as that Is where he came ashore. A lot of information in such a short time.
Our guide was wonderful! Francois worked well with my elderly parents and shared very interesting facts about the beaches that we did not know.
Francois, our guide, was knowledgeable, friendly, and good humored.
Jacques Franquois was our driver/guide. He is a true historian and marvelous storyteller. Excellent trip! Recommend highly!
Our tour was great. Everything we wanted it to be. Our tour guide was the best..
we enjoyed and recommend the tour
Our tour guide Francois Gosselin was courteous, WWII D-Day knowledgeable and took us to locations where the Band of Brothers had their battles. Francois also had a binder with pictures and explained who, what, where and when. His tour was amazing!
It was awsome. I forget the young lady who was our driver but she is a 22 year old young French lady who has been giving this tour for the last 2 years. She knows her history and was very fun the whole day.
Awesome tour on every level! Our guide Francois did an amazing job during the day giving us such a great overview of the area, history, local experiences and selecting a great location for our lunch! We highly recommend this tour and be sure to request Francois! He made it such a great day for our entire group and he even added an additional destination that made it more unique! We were so amazed and just how much we got to see in one day...
We had the best time on this tour and in Bayeux. Our tour guide, Rose, did an enthusiastic tour and was obliging with photo stops and answering questions.
We arrived, unbeknown to us, on the week of the 70th D Day Landing celebrations. The extra people in town, the extra traffic and the armed forces, all added to the atmosphere of our visit.
Would recommend this tour and also to visit The Bayeux Tapestry.
Collected on time and from there on an excellent day. Our guide Kate was charming and very informative. We visit all the planned sites and the way she managed it meant we had maximum time to see things with minimum waiting. We would certainly recommend tour to others. Thanks
Jean Francoise was knowledgable, enthusiastic and entertaining. He brought the historic D-Day events to life. We highly recommend the tour.
Our guide was excellent and we had ample time to look at all the museums and the American Cemetery.
