Excellent top to bottom. Support and very knowledgeable guide thank you and merci!
This was the most professional and informative trip we could have experienced. Matthew was knowledgeable, enthusiastic and personable. He made the tour a living and real event for us. We learned so much from him and would highly recommend your tours to others.
We had a wonderful experience. A knowledgeable guide who went deep into the history of the invasion. Sites were amazing - beaches, cemeteries, memorials, small towns. I would recommend it to anyone interested in how the Allies reclaimed France from the German armies.
Tourr was excellent. We saw so much in our nine hours and it was great to be with a small group of eight. Our guide gave excellent commentary and was very personable and a great driver. I would highly recommend this tour.
Seeing places I had only read about in history books thru the eyes of Lucy (our guide) made the importance of the area and the people who lived there and arrived during D day come to life. Lucy was so knowledgeable and loved history. Would recommend the tour to others.
Very well done tour. Adrian was great and we truly enjoyed this tour. Definitely recommend this tour to anyone.
Excellent tour by excellent guide. Pick up at train station on time. Parking there if you drive. 8 passenger van allowed for very nice group interaction. Solemn cemeteries (both sides together in death). Surprising facts, broader battlefield than expected. New heroes, a general that landed and the french people who adopt grave sites and their occupant. Never forget the men and their sacrifice.
Excellent. Great guide. Could not ask for anything better.
My husband and I ended our 10 day road trip through France with this tour and in the week since can't stop talking about it. We have done quite a bit of traveling, but this tour by far exceeds most of what we've experienced. I was a little concerned with the length of the trip, however afterwards we felt like we could have continued a few more hours. There is just so much to see and I would have liked to have more time to explore the American cemetery. It was such a moving experience and something I will never forget. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and made sure everyone had questions answered throughout the day. One unexpected highlight was the visit at Pointe du Hac where there are massive craters from the ariel attacks prior to D-Day. I can't recommend this tour highly enough. You will forever be changed by this experience.
Rose's grasp of historical facts and her ability to communicate them in an interesting manner made this one of the best tours we have ever had!
Great!
The tour was worth every penny. Our guide Lucy was very knowledgable and spoke very good english. I would recomment this to anyone who wants an indepth view of Normandy invasion from an American view point. The only critizim I would have is to reverse the order of the tour as by the time we reached Omha Beach and the American Cemetary it was late in the day which did not leave a lot of time for those sites which in my opionon are the most important part of the tour if you are an American.
This was best day of our entire week long holiday. David, our tour guide was SO knowledgeable. This was a tearful, heart-wrenching and amazing thing to experience. The American Cemetery just pulls at your heart.
We had a great tour. Very knowledgeable guide.
The tour was extremely interesting and informative with the small group of 8 people. The guide, Matthew did a great job and kept the day full of information and enthusiasm. Full day of activity; we are glad we took the tour instead of going on our own. We were picked up at the hotel Churchhill and returned.
