Tour is a must see when staying in Northern France. Tour guide was extremely passionate and very knowledgeable of the events leading up to and days after the beach landings. I didn't think it was possible to have a greater respect for our War Veterans, but after taking this tour and seeing, hearing what they dealt with on landing day, saying Thank you just doesn't seem like enough.

Our guide was so knowledgeable and enthusiastic. He really made the day! The tour itself was a moving and eye-opening way to spend an afternoon. Bayeux is also a gorgeous little town and well worth a visit before or after the tour.

Great tour guide and a great tour. Definitely worth seeing and listening to. Knowledgeable tour guide. He knew his stuff and was very good in treating all the questions. He tried really hard and did a great job. Also, bring a jacket. It's cold and windy on the beaches, we froze. Also it runs on time, so be there. Pretty easy to find since it's a small little town.

Enjoyed the tour and the guide. Some parking arrangement for those of us arriving by car would have been useful.

Our tour was made very interesting thanks to our guide who did an excellent job of describing the details of how the Canadian troops came ashore and moved through the villages. It was especially interesting when he took us to the village where he personally grew up and related to us stories told by his grandmother of her encounters with both the German and Canadian troops. To be perfectly honest the guide made the tour and he deserves to be complimented for his personal attitude, interest and interaction with those of us on the tour.

I do not recommend it. It was OK at best, but for the price I would have rented a car and done a self-administered trip. The guide was nice, but difficult to understand. The time at the Juno Beach Centre was not long enough and the process there was not explained very well. Some people went ahead and bought tickets...even though the entry was covered. We saw very little WWII sites.
