I highly recommend this half-day tour of the Normandy Beaches. Our tour guide was very professional and knowledgeable concerning the D-Day invasion.
My family loved this tour. Our tour guide Kate was great. We especially enjoyed her personal stories as she grew up in Bayeux and her family lived through the war. We were all humbled by seeing this beautiful area and knowing what happened there.
Kate was wonderfully engaging. Her enthusiasm for the subject, born out of her personal family experience was very contagious. She was kind enough to pick us up and drop us off at the Bayeux train station, otherwise we could not have gone when we did. It also gave us the opportunity to experience the French rails as opposed to driving in a bus.
Our guide, Kate, was very knowledgeable on the topic. We really enjoyed this tour!
Guide was one of our best we have ever had. Only bad thing was too many people in the van. It was very tight and uncomfortable.
Our tour was everything we hoped it would be. Our guide, Mattieu, was delightful and so knowledgeable. We learned much. A beautiful, inspirational and memorable day. Merci beaucoup. Sally Graves
What a fabulous experience! Tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and made the afternoon that more interesting -
The guide was outstanding! Informed, passionate, professional.... He could not have been better. Thank you!
My husband and I had the pleasure of a half-day afternoon tour with Adrian. He was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and funny. He did an excellent job polling the group for interest in certain topics and ensuring that we had a wonderful time. The weather was not great, so he made some great adjustments to accommodate: some informational pieces were in the very large, comfortable van, others inside bunkers at Pont du'Hoc, and umbrellas were offered when we were outside. He took extra steps to make sure we got to see some hidden features and sites, and as a result, we had an amazing time. I can't stop telling everyone to take this tour!
Our guide was very professional and deep in knowledge. We hit all the highlights and even an off-the-beaten-path surprise. It was well worth the cost.

Our lady guide, Sunnie was informative and explained the details of Omaha beach and Pointe du Hoc, etc. very vidvidly. The US army cementary is a very touching place. But we expected a scene which was mentioned in other tours with a soldier landed and stuck on a tree, etc. Wish the tour a bit longer.
We thoroughly enjoyed the tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable and we were fortunate to have a few extra stops included.
Our guide, Francois, was excellent. He brought high energy and a detailed knowledge of the Normandy invasion to our tour. His approach of questions/answers kept our two teenagers engaged and having fun! In addition to the stops common to most Normandy tours, Francois led us to explore more remote bunkers and fortifications that other tours don't see based on the vegetation overgrowth, not very many people see what we did, making the experience all the more memorable!
Francois, our guide, was the ultimate professional who picked us up at our B and B right at 1 pm. He complemented the tour with well researched commentary, photos and maps. He incorporated stories from his many prior tours which made it much more interesting. For example, he shared that the granddaughter of General Patton was on one of his tours and confirmed François story that he was prone to swearing. At each stop, he made sure we had plenty of time to experience Point du Hoc, the American Cemetary and Omaha Beach in our own introspective way. Thank you for a first rate tour. A bientot.
The tour guide was very informative and a wealth of knowledge. Small group of 8 was nice.
FANTASTIC TOUR. Our guide Emily, although young, was VERY knowledgeable and informative. As we planned our trip, it worked out such that we were at Normandy on Memorial Day in the US. This timing made the visit more impactful for the 2 retired Coast Guard personnel in our group. Took Bullet Train from Paris Gare St. Lazare to Bayeux with a change in Caen...worked great. Took bullet train direct from Bayeux to return to Paris...again, worked great. Guide met us at train station just as advertised. If you arrive or depart by train and have a little free time before or after the tour, be sure to stop in at the little resturant just ouside the train station. The service is QUICK and the food was good. The owner loves talking to Americans and telling war stories that have been passed down from his father and other family members about what it was like there on D-Day. Very moving stories!!!
Adriene was a great knowledgeable tour guide and we really enjoyed the amount we were able to cover in just a 1/2 day tour. The town of Bayeux was adorable. Definitely would spend more time there if we had it. Don't hesitate to stay over night in this area.
This was a fantastic tour! Our guide, François, was born in nearby Caen and grew up hearing stories of World War II from his grandparents and other relatives. He was very knowledgeable about the history of the invasion of Normandy and knew the sites well from having visited them since childhood. At each site we visited, he explained the significance of the site and described in detail the events that transpired there. He was a great source of information that I had not learned from other historical accounts, such as how the Norman landscape caused problems for the Allies and how they overcame those obstacles.
Aside from the tour itself, Lower Normandy is beautiful, and getting to see so much of the countryside was an unexpected bonus. I highly recommend this tour!
Very good tour. We got lots of detailed information about the sites and the times. Francois is a knowledgeable and helpful guide. He knew we were disappointed not to join the Canadian tour, so he gave us some additional insights into that aspect
A very meaningful, memorable experience conducted by 'Amelie' in a friendly professional manner.
This tour was excellent! Our guide was friendly and very informative. Every minute of the tour was worth it. Can't see everything in 4 hours so this was a great way to get a sense of this sacred place.
