This is a well structured, comprehensive tour with a tour guide who is knowledgable and demonstrated a thorough understanding of historical and statistical information. The tour group of 8 is very suitable, take your jacket to fend off the wind! Travelled by train from Gare du Nord via Caen to Bayeux, a lovely town with cobblestone streets and quaint little boutiques, cafes, bakeries and the Notre Dame of Bayeux, with spires and gargoyles soaring sky high. Half day tour was well worth the effort to get there, takes in all the landing points and the American cemetery. If staying in Bayeux more than a day, would recommend the all day tour. Very good value for money.

Excursion was great and very informative. Only complaint is that our driver drove aggressively and I was feeling car sick.

It was excellent, the driver/tour guide was a font of knowledge and very personable. I think her name was Lucilla(?). The visit to the American cemetery was especially memorable and touching.....a great tour.

Better than I expected. The guide, Mathew, was very knowledgable and all of his facts coincided with my readings. His demenor was perfect for his job and my wife, who has but a passing interest in Overloard,,found herself captivated by Mathew's discourse. I was also impressed by the Normandy landscape and culture and believe the next visit will entail a much longer stay.

It was like visiting the movie "Saving Private Ryan" even though I was told only the beginning part of the movie was true. The tour was very informative and interesting even though it was super windy and rainy and cold. I loved it and turned out my tour was so much better than this other tour, that I heard of on that same day, (Rick someone's tour) where the guide brought people into his living room for half of his tour just to talk. Anyway, thanks for the great experience!!!

Loved this. Seeing the cliffs of Omaha Beach put things into perspective. The bunkers and guns were a definite highlight. Although the US Cemetery was a little 'Hollywood', the museum is top notch. Go there first so you have enough time.

Outstanding leader who was extremely knowledgeable and pleasant. She went out of her way to be informative and attentive to all of the eight people on our tour. Would highly recommend this tour to anyone planning to visit Normandy.
