Two of us were on the Normandy tour, the excursion was really enjoyable and very informative. I would definitely recommend it to a friend that is going to be visiting in the area. I also want to send 'kudos' to our tour guide. There were a total of 6 of us on that tour and he had patience with all of us, very courteous and was knowledgeable of his job. I was impressed with the knowledge he had of the United States and the informative things he shared with us such as street sign information in Paris, motorcycle etiquette, etc. These seemed to be extra things he told us that made an impact to show he cares about his job.

The guide was so knowledgeable and made me laugh the whole time! It was amazing to actually be in all the sights I've read about, and I never would have known what I know now without our guide!

This was a great experience, especially being able to visit such a historical location with my dad whom had served in the 8th Air force during WWII. The sites were amazing as well as the towns visited, Caen, Bayeux, etc.... This is definitely a place that I would truly revisit in the years to come.

The tour was terrific because we had such a lively and knowledgeable guide. He was careful to make sure we understood all aspects of the battle and provided the story with a sensitive understanding of the complex issues related to the great loss of life for all players in this event. As a Baby Boomer, I grew up on my father's World War II stories. He was in Europe at the close of the war and I believe, if he were alive, he would have really enjoyed this tour and this guide's perspective on events. In addition, our guide kept us on track, gave us a detailed picture of how the D-Day events unfolded, and was an absolutely delightful and funny historic interpretor.

Three perspectives were brought out by our guide in the 'Normandy Beaches Tour - American World War II Beaches'. The Allies, the Nazi's and the local residents of Normandy. If you want to get a well rounded history lesson of the D-Day invasion and life in Normandy at that time this is an excellent educational experience which I fully recommend. Our guide was a third generation resident of Caen and had a tremendous amount of military and local knowledge surrounding the Normandy Battlefields and life under Nazi occupation as well as the impact of liberation.

Took the minivan tour and it was great. The guide was very friendly and knowledgeable. It was a cold and rainy day, but it really made the tour better. The weather was similar to the weather as it was on D-Day and made it much more relevant. I would definitely recommend this tour over a large bus tour anytime and will probably do the full day tour in the future.
