William is an excellent tour guide -- he was knowledgable, flexible in terms of scheduling, and well-versed in English. He intrepidly led us up the Great Wall in -20 C temperature and wind chill as well as around Tiananmen and the Forbidden City. The trip was a great value in my opinion.
Highly recommended if you are short on time. The tour guide was wonderful and knowledgeable. This tour is a must.
The tour is only as good as your tour guide....our guilde Michael was excellent and so was the entire tour..
I highly recommend this tour.
At lunch opt for the Peking Duck just a few extra dollars but well worth it.

For the price this is a good value tour that provides ample time at the Great Wall and decent walk through the Forbidden City. The booking process, and follow up communication was excellent and re-assuring given I made late changes. The guide, Victoria, was polite and enthusiastic with good English. Bus was clean and efficient picking me up on time from the hotel. The stop overs at a Jade and Silk factory were a little annoying but given they were timed for a useful stop, not overly troublesome. Overall excellent value.
Our tour was excellent. Our guide Jackie did an amazing job. The lunch was probably the best meal we had while in Beijing. I overall will rate this as a 5 star tour
First time in Beijing. This was a great tour to go on if you have a full day. Our guide Michael was amazing. Really knowledgeable and friendly. Amazing sights. Also visited silk, jade and tea factories. Good lunch provided. Downside was time travelling to The Great Wall long and the bus was too cold!
Very nice trip, the guide was friendly and kind. Outstanding service.
Victoria provided exceptional customer service by contacting my hotel to confirm the tour start time and answering all questions. The whole day was very enjoyable and informative.
Pro: Tour went ahead even though I was the only one booked. Prompt arrival and guide has good English skills. Tea ceremony was a welcome surprise. Not much of a shopper but silk factory prices were amazing($84US for scarf, could probably haggle lower).
Con: Waited 20-30mins for tickets at Forbiden City(surely they could have been prepurchased to spend that time wandering the site). Also much traffic to Great wall lead to shorter time there than would have liked. I work out with stairs so it was an easy climb but still took 45min up/45min down leaving no time at the top, or to check out the vendors/food stalls/etc. Adding 30min to the length would have made it a better tour even if it costs $10 more.
Definetely recommend if you have limited time in Beijing such as those traveling to China 72hours visa free.
This is the best way to do Beijing in a day! Everything had a great pace and although I was initially questioning whether I could stand an 8 hour tour, the time flew by and I could have stayed longer. Cherry was magnificent as a tour guide. Extremely knowledgeable about Chinese history and made sure to stage the photos that were must haves. I highly recommend!
We went on this tour in November 2014 (quiet season), ended up being a tour with just the two of us. Our guide and driver were on time to pick us up from our hotel and pretty flexible about the things we wanted to see or not see that were on the tour. The guide was informative and relaxed.
The great to wall of China was unbelievable and beautiful, the best experience of our life. Loved it.
Our tour guide Cynthia was very kind and nice with us. She tried to made our tour very exciting and interesting. My flight was delayed so I start the tour later, after the Forbidden city so she told me they will make a refund for that. I didn't asked for it so it was very nice from her.
We went to the Jade Factory and we ate there; the food was very good and enough for all of us. After that we went to the Silk Factory and to the Great Wall. It was amazing but maybe not enough time, only 1:30 hour. We finished at the Tea ceremony very interesting. GREAT TOUR! RECOMMENDED FOR ONLY ONE DAY IN BEIJING!

Love this tour, jacky was amazing , we had an amazing tour visiting everything including enough time at the wall!..when I get back I'll ask for Jackie !..
Wow what a tour and the tour guide was awesome, and very Knowledgeable.
This was my second tour with Jason as guide (I did the Beijijng Duck and Acrobat show the previous evening. Absolutely first class. As it turned out he was my personal guide, even though it was not a private tour. Excellent level of knowledge of all the sites visited, and a complete history as well.
We saw everything at a reasonable pace; had a great translator "Caroli" Who had so much knowledge! No pressure to make purchases. Small group, fun day! The Great Wall was amazing!!!
Excellent tour with absolutely fantastic guide called Cynthia. Incredibly friendly and well informed about her city.Nothing was too much for her and she made the day a delight.
The tour was great, Jacky was very knowledgeable about everything we visited and had great historical insights to everything Chinese and in Beijing. He proposed a couple of different options and the section of the great wall we went to was not overly crowded, which made the views even more spectacular. He also took us to a chinese tea house which I did not think was on the itinerary and that was a great experience. Highly recommended.
Great day with Michelle, walked around Forbidden city and climbed the wall, a must
Excellent guide very knowledgeable fantastic trip well worth it
Jackie was one of the best guides we've ever had on a trip. He was very knowledgeable on Chinese history. Jackie had one story after another that brought Chinese history to life.
