Dining on Dim Sum in a Hutong Courtyard
Next, walk down a hutong and arrive at a local family’s home. Your instructor, an expert chef, will teach you various kitchen skills and tips and techniques on how to create perfect dim sum.
Depending on the daily menu, you’ll make two yummy dishes, some of which may include soup dumplings, wontons, egg tarts, barbequed pork buns, sweet sesame rolls, dandan noodles or stir-fried noodles.
When you’re finished, find a spot in the 150-year-old Qing dynasty-era courtyard to enjoy the meal you’ve just made!
