Our tour guide Mr Jacki Lee was an excellent guide. Thoroughly fluent in english, we had no trouble understanding. I was accompanied by my 69 yr old mother in law. Trust me, we would never have reached The Great Wall, had he not helped and coaxed her! Hats off to him. Would recommend him every time.
The old negative point was the lunch! Couldn't bear to eat it! My fellow travelers all ENT surgeons, 1 Australian, 1 US and 4 from UK faced the same problem.
Great wall of China is amazing. My only criticism of this tour is that more time NEEDS to be spent at the great wall, by skipping the jade factory, etc. Certainly one of great sites everyone should see.. like grand canyon in Arizona.
It was a great experience! The size of the group is not too big and it allows us to know each other better. The guide, WIliam, is friendly and helpful. He has good command in English and answered all of our questions satisfactorily. I definitely recommend this toour for those who want to visit the great wall and the Ming tombs.
Excellent site. We were grateful that we did not visit during the national holiday which was the first week in May. Our tour guide shared a vide of the millions of people who visited during that week. When we visited the site, the weather was cool and the number of visitors was high but not crowded. During our travel to the Great Wall, we stopped at a jade factory and learned about how to distinguish between real and fake jade. The stone walkways are uneven so if elderly folks visited this site ...it's good to be prepared with good and comfortable walking shoes. For those afraid of heights, it's good to also know that cable car ride up to the watch tower is required. Overall experience is excellent and I recommend sunscreen, good camera, and comfortable shoes.
An excellent tour. The guide was knowledgeable and obliging. We really enjoyed the experience. The driver was skillful and the bus clean.
William Kuang, our English speaking tour guide was fantastic. Having travelled the Globe and been on many tours in various Cities, I have never come across such a professional guide. He knows his history and explained all with a passion for his Country. I would highly recommend Viator and particularly William. Vehicle and driver also clean and well maintained.
Very friendly, professional and informative guide. The crowds at Badaling were unbelievable, however the wait time for the cable car was not too long. The visit to the Ming tomb was very interesting. The day was capped off with a pleasant tea-tasting. Well done Viator
Highly highly recommended, Cherry was an exceptiontal tour guide. This was a private van tour with only 3 other people. We got to spend around 2 hours at the great wall, the ming tombs were also phenomenal. The jade factory was unexpectedly very interesting to see and the tea ceremony was much better than expected. Day lasted around 10 hours and was worth every penny
The tour guide was very friendly and spoke excellent English. She had lots of interesting information on the Ming Tombs, the great wall, Jade factory and the tea ceremony we attended. She was very interested in each person on the tour and made the whole experience very comfortable. I had an amazing time and learned so much.
I had a great tour to the Great Wall and Ming Tombs. Our guide Jenny was lovely and very knowledgable about her subject and our driver was friendly too. The views at the Great Wall were wonderful and I would recommend this tour to others who want to see the Great Wall or Ming Tombs.
The tour guide Jackie was the best tour guide we have ever had. Thanks Jackie your the best. -From Pearl Lady

Great day visiting the Ming Tombs and Great Wall. Tombs were a bit disappointing in that you don't get to actually see the tmobs as they have not yet been excavated foe fear of damaging the articles buried underground. The wall was incredible. We chose to walk up the north side of the wall at Badaling because there were less tourists, but sections were quite steep. Our guide Jacky was very knowledgeable and shared a lot of information and history, almost to a fault.
I had a great time on the tour. Micheal, the tour guide, was knowledgeable and friendly. I would suggest this tour to a friend.
The Great Wall Tour was great. Our tour guide was terrific and gave us lots of facts along the way. Would recommend this tour!
The tour guide was very nice and put a lot of effort into making everyone happy. I assume she does this everyday, which is amazing because it is a lot of work and this is coming from someone half he age.
Wall was very nice esp if you are athletic.
This is a great tour. It was made most memorable, due to the first snow of the year which blanket the Great Wall of China. Simply beautiful.
The guide was very informative, The climb and view was fantastic. Lunch was very good. Highly recommend this tour.

I really enjoyed this tour. Our tour guide Victoria was very knowledgable and friendly. She really took good care of us. Tour of the great wall was just the right amount of time to experience the scenery and the beauty of the area. Tours of the tea ceremony and the Jade factory were an added bonus that we would not have otherwise known to see.Highly recommend this tour.

A superb tour. There is one critical factor that is beyond control. It is the haze. If your tour is one a haze hit day, the views could be pretty depressing. We were lucky to have had beautiful clear skies, a brilliant guide and sights to behold.
Though we had 20 visibility when it came to appreciating the Great Wall, our guide Cynthia made the day's tour interesting and enjoyable. She provided excellent historical context for the Ming Dynasty Tombs, pacing the tour perfectly. She kept us well informed about Chinese cultural practices and the roots of the language during the bus travel between stops. Lunch was nice. The tea ceremony was delightful, too. This tour is worthwhile.
The Great Wall tour was very enjoyable and informative. Maria was an excellent and personably tour guide who provided good background and historically significant information. The tour ended in a fun and education stop at the Tea House where we got an education on tea choices, how to make a good cup of tea and also to enjoy tasting some well prepared teas.
The bus driver did a very skillful job in navigating safely and efficiently through the intense Beijing traffic.
Note--I would recommend the tour cost be modified to include the Great Wall tram fee since most people seem to prefer the use of the tram.
